NIKON P 22 2-7 x 32 Scope
I am looking for any feed back on the Nikon P 22 Scope, to be used on the M&P 15-22. Which reticle, BDC-150 or Nikoplex ?
Any thoughts would be appreciated. tia

I have the P22 with the BDC and I love it! It holds zero and I think is the perfect scope for the 15-22. Make sure you also download the Nikon Spot On software too. It is free and really helps you dial in your Ammo and scope. Enjoy!

wm, I have the P-22 2-7 on my Smith. While I prefer the Rapid Action Turret in the M-223 configuration, for the P-22 I like the BDC reticle. It let's me fine tune my ammo and rifle by using Spot On. I have plinked silver dollar sized target's at 100 yards with mine. Big fun, great price. I also used the M-223 AR Mount over the P-Series Mount, just because I had to lying around. 2 buddies who have the Smith's have the P-Series 2 piece mount and are very happy.Drop me a note with any questions.

Nikon P-22
I have had the P-22 for several months now and I love it. I bought the BDC reticle and, at first, thought I had made a mistake. Now, I would never go back to cranking turrets. I shoot tactical competitions at my club and targets are anywhere from 15 to 100 yards and there is no time for adjustments as we are on the clock. I have zeroed my scope at 25 yards, seems short, but I did that because it zeros the cross hairs at 25-50 yards, the first bubble is 75 yards and the second bubble is 100 yards with the ammo I shoot. It has held zero very well. The scope is well made and has proven very durable. I will strongly recommend Butler Creek flip ups to protect the lenses as this is a fairly expensive scope for a .22 rifle. I have installed my caps to flip down to stay out of the way during matches. I really don't see how you can to wrong with this scope. Good luck and good shooting.

Do you work for Nikon? Just kidding. The bubbles sound like an interesting thing to try out.
Dear Santa:
I've been a good boy this year...who am I kidding? Santa ain't buying me nothing this year. It's starting to look like the first Christmas present on my list because I gotta get my needs out of the way first.

Just downloaded the app for Android yesterday to my tablet. Unfortunately the app is $4.99, still cheap for the features. It appears to work virtually identical to the PC version. At least now I can take it to the range and verify the data.

I wish I had a job in the shooting industry, I would tell everyone. Really, I've learned alot over the years from other people, some good some not so good, so I like to pass on my opinions even if they are used as the bad examples.
I never really liked BDC scopes until I bought this one, I believe, because I never really gave them the chance to prove their worth, and I never had to make quick follow up shots at different distances until I got into tactical competitions where they really shine. Since I don't hunt anymore, competitions are all I do.
Really hope things look up for you and Santa can deliver some wants for Christmas, you sound like you've been really good this year,
