Default Love shooting this rifle!

Went to the in laws out in the country and finally got to have some fun with my rifle! What a blast! Nothing like shooting off the back porch at targets with my 10 year old son!

Things I really liked:
Accuracy! At 25yds it was spot on....even my son was hitting the target with ease. Even at 50 yds it was easy to hit the target.
Red dot and/or iron sights was easily accomplished.

Ammo cost! Obvious being a .22 but it sure is nice to burn thru 500 rounds and not break the bank. The rifle had no issues with Federal bulk, CCI mini mag, and even tried Winchester Wildcat with no problems.

Funny thing... Father in law (old timer) was like "That's a .22?? Wow! Never seen one like that!" Lol! He even enjoyed doing a little plinking...

I've purchased a Simmons 3-9x32 scope and hope to do some more shooting over the Christmas break!

Another happy M&P 15-22 owner!

Happy shooting!

From what I have been reading, seems like the 15-22 is the new family gun.
Fun for all ages.
There are even some old timers on here ,that have rediscovered the fun of shooting a 22 lr. Count myself as one of them.

Move here to Vegas. Plenty of desert to unwind in & no range fees.

Walnut and bluing are built for beauty, black is built for fun.

The 15-22 definitely made my trigger time more enjoyable.

I would if only my kid was grown. Gotta stay here in the mitten for now since I have a 5 yr old and an ex to share him with.

It is a heck of alot of fun

I'm trying to find friends w/ land as well so I can get my rapid fire fix on from time to time w/o incurring the wrath of the range officers... More freeform plinking is also more enjoyable to me than shooting at paper at 12 o'clock all the time.
