Single point sling mount w/ slide fire stock
I just got an M and P 15 22 a couple weeks ago and put a Slide Fire stock on it. My question is, anyone figure out a good way to attach a single point sling to one with the Slide Fire stock on it. It cannot attach on the buffer tube and no I do not have the MOE version since I was going to be replacing the stock on it anyways. Any help would be appreciated.

what kind of trigger job did you do to your gun?
you would have to attach the sling to the stock itsself, not the gun, because the stock is what stays still while bump firing

No trigger job yet. Thinking about going with the Jard 1.5# The sling would only be used when the stock is in the locked position for target shooting or squirrel
hunting. I was thinking about putting one where the rear back up sight would go and I think my gun would hang at an angle rather than straight down if mounted this way.

The Jard is a good choice - top quality without breaking then bank. I went with the 1.5 lb, too. It yields, in my 15-22, a measured 2.2 lbs with virtually no creep.

Those were my thoughts on it too. Light trigger pull and adjustable. Do you use it with the slide fire?

I have no desire to pretend I have a class 3 firearm.
I installed it because it was the easiest way to get a 2lb trigger pull.

To each his own. Been shooting/hunting since I got my first gun 25 years ago. The slide fire is just something different than what I'm used to and it looks like a lot of fun. And doing it with the 15-22 is the only way to go in my opinion.

Ahh, yes, had I looked at it closer, it would've been somewhat obvious.

I think the days are numbered for anyone who would take our little black rifles.
