Bought a a UTG red dot. I going to be putting a .83 riser for full co-witness with the iron sights. The base of the red dot it 2.250" long. I can only find a riser 1.6 and 5.7" long. Should i get 2 of the 1.6" or just get the 5.7". Just trying to figure out what the gun would look like with the different risers.

Yeah I have a hard time choosing with out pics. I don't want something that looks out of place on the gun. Put getting the 13 slot 5.7" kinda makes sense for future up grades.

I have a riser on mine, don't even notice it.

I think you would also have a more stable mount with the 5.7 over two of the 1.6 risers.

Just got the riser in. Put it on the gun and it seems too high. The top of the iron sights are in the bottom of the optic. Looks like I'm gonna have to get the .50 saddle height riser to make this red dot work.

Did you get the utg .83 riser? Did it give you bottom 1/3 co-witness?

I did get the .83 riser. From the looks of it, it did give me 1/3 co witness. The iron sights are at the very bottom of the optic. I just bought the .500 riser and that should give me the absolute co witness that I wanted.
