Best looking free float hand guard and barrel shroud
Need opinions here, please post pictures and vendor info of what you think are the best looking free float hand guards and barrel shrouds. Need to update my MP 15-22 that has a threaded barrel.
I have viewed a lot of pics but many have no vendor info.
Thanks

Best looking, IMHO, is the stock one (drilled out to clear the barrel).

Best looking hand guards??? That's like asking what is the best car.
Yankee Hill makes some very nice ones with all kinds of different designs and lengths. Olympic Arms and Hogue make nice ones too.
As far as barrel shrouds, well I am biased towards the 6 inch.

Yankee hill forearms.. their diamond design is tight, I have an all YHM upper on one of my AR's that uses the diamond design - personally, I love their stuff.
A 6" shroud is no doubt best looking IMHO so I also agree, but there are many of those designs to even pick from.

Yup, another YHM fan here! My AR's upper is all YHM with the diamond fluted barrel and rifle length quad rail.
As for the foe suppressers, I dig the Spikes C1.

They are made by a US based company named Apex Machining. About $200 a pop but built to higher standards than the Troy TRX rails such as 500 hour saltwater exposure tests and such. This is not saying they are better I own Troy. Apex rails are great if you got the cash.

Rainier Arms carries a lot of quality hand guards.

I like the Evo that Samson makes for them. $185
edit - it uses a factory barrel nut

Oh lord, this thread is dangerous to my wallet. I really like the Diamondhead T and the Yankee Hill Todd Jarrett series. Really hard to swallow the price though. My brain keeps daydreaming how it would look though.

I now use an AP Custom 12" ventilated non-railed carbon fiber hand guard on mine.

I don't run a barrel shroud, but I like my VLTOR CASV-EL handguards. I swapped the optics on these and mounted the Strikefire on the 15-22 in a mid-height mount instead of the cantilever mount it is in here.

I put in an order for the JP Enterprise handguard. It looks slimmer and basically, won't make mine look like the guy next to me and the other guy next to him with M&P 15-22's! Hope it looks as good as advertised.
As you can tell, this question has no right or wrong answer.
