I completely agree. I too was a victim of Promag's mini 14 mags...in fact nobody's mini 14/30 mags match the OEM quality and function.
BUT- good news the 15-22 mags get good reviews

I have not personally used them, but there was a shooter at the range today that had some. He said they have functioned fine in the month that he has had them.
There seems to be very few complaints posted here.

Their polymer mags seem to be ok, unlike their metal magazines.

Anybody else from Ohio get this email? I live in Ohio and ordered three 32 rounders on 1/23/13 and have not received anything from ProMag. If they truly aren't going to process my order then i would have liked at least a heads up in the past 3 and a half weeks.

Sorry I should have posted sooner but I got caught up on searching for a spare magazine and ammo.
Here's the e-mail I received on Jan 14, 2013 2:15pm from ProMag.
"Per Ohio we do not ship, sell or offer for sale any magazines over 30 rounds to anyone in Ohio or anyone using a billing address in the state of Ohio.
Please be advised we have cancelled your order.
Sorry for any inconvenience.
Thank you,
ProMag Industries"

I am also in Ohio. I ordered 2 32rd and 1 10rd from them back in mid-Jan. Got a shipping confirmation on Friday that only included the 10rd mag, the others had a quantity of 0.
I did not receive the email you posted from them. Will attempt to contact them tomorrow.

It's been exactly one month since I placed my order for four mags. Still no shipping notice. Still says "processing." Very frustrating that others who have ordered more recently have already gotten shipping notices.

Ah, maybe that's why people that ordered after me are getting shipping notices. Because they are shipping everything but the mags. Thanks. That makes me feel a little better.

That is possible.
I forgot to mention. I did NOT get a shipping notice, and when I log in, it still shows all of my order as processing.

ProMag is really peeving me off. Companies are not allowed to ship CENTERfire magazines over 30 rounds to Ohio. CENTERfire, not RIMfire.

On a different note, does anyone know if you can alter the 10 round magazines that ProMag makes to turn them into 32 rounders? Just curious, didn't know if they were as simple to convert as the factory S&W ones.

I read on another thread that you can modify them just like the S&W 10 rounders.

I figure they are bombarded with emails, orders etc that they aren't getting the emails out to us Ohioans. It's bs that they won't ship here but I did what any person in need would do and begged a family member in Indiana to order for me lol. Hope it's not another month till I see em

Ohio Code
I just sent the following to Promag asking them to review and reconsider their Ohio policy.
The controlling law on magazine capacity, Ohio Revised Code §2923.11(E), Weapons control definitions provides:
"'Automatic firearm' means any firearm designed or specially adapted to fire a succession of cartridges with a single function of the trigger. 'Automatic firearm' also means any semi-automatic firearm designed or specially adapted to fire more than thirty-one cartridges without reloading, other than a firearm chambering only .22 caliber short, long, or long-rifle cartridges." Id.
We'll see...

Huh, I ordered four earlier this month, and placed another order for two more a day ago. Will be interesting to see which order ships first.

I did the same when I replied back with a link to the Ohio Code
Lawriter - ORC - 2923.11 [Effective Until 3/27/2013] Weapons control definitions..
Anyway I bought a S&W 10 rd magazine and removed the pin.

Well my order w/ ProMag is still "processing" but as seeing how it looks like they won't end up shipping them to Ohio, i thought i would try something else.
I considered trying to order ProMag 10 rounders and attempting to modify them but i figured i would give Plinker Tactical a try. I know, i know most people say they are terrible but i've got nothing to lose so i ordered three of them yesterday and a load assist tool.
From what i can tell they are coming from their HQ in the Carolinas.
Was impressed when i got an email today from UPS that they had created a label and the estimated date of delivery was Friday through Monday. If i really get them within not even a week and they work i would be overjoyed.
Oh and if ProMag ever gets around to cancelling my order and emailing me i will respond that they would not be breaking any laws by mailing a RIMfire magazine that holds over 30 rounds to Ohio.
Just my $0.02

I hope everyone is serious that have recently placed orders and are getting them, and not just trying to stir the pot. I have an order for 6 from 1/25 that is still processing. Tried to call them today and they say they aren't talking calls about orders and you need to email them.

I just placed an order for 2 of the 32 rounders. No indication of a backorder. I'll keep it updated here on when I get notification of them shipping

Ordered 2 of the 32-round mags on 2/9/13. Got an email on Monday (2/18) that they had shipped, but no tracking number and they have not arrived yet.
Edit: The CC charge processed on 2/20.

So, a few people are getting orders shipped the next day, and others have been waiting over a month with nothing?

Are they holding back orders of over 2 magazines? It seems everyone that orders 2 gets a shipping notice.

I just called to see what the heck is going on, and after finally getting someone on the phone I was told they are filling orders in a first come first serve basis and that noway anybody is getting orders shipped in less than six weeks. I called foul and was hung up on. NOT HAPPY right now.

Brownell's had something similar happen on pmags. They found the problem and said it was a software glitch. Three hundred people got bumped to the front of the line that ordered over a month after some people.

I can be pretty mischievous, but usually only in person, not just stirring the pot ordered Monday 2 mags, received shipped email this morning just rechecked email, no tracking number though. I will follow up once delivered. I was thinking I would be in for a month or so wait based on all of the post's from everyone.

Guys, there is the answer to all of the questions. Promag is using the same program that Brownells is using! BTW- Brownells never said they fixed the problem. They stated that they had FOUND the problem. Just a thought,IDK. Maybe Botach will start shipping now. Wouldn't that be great! We could only wish. In any event I hope promag gets this sorted out for everyone.

I just find it hard to believe that promag cant seem to understand how to count. Each one of us had a numerical order number. Just cant believe they skipped over what i assume are thousands of orders without noticing either a order number that is too recent or date ordered too recent. I honestly dont desperately need any mags right now but it would be nice if they could get their **** straight. Im halfway thinking of just putting in another order just to see

I still haven't received my order placed on Jan 8th, haven't gotten a reply from my email either. But after seeing all of these orders being placed and getting a shipping notice within a couple days I thought I'd go ahead and try again, I can always cancel one or both. One thing that I noticed, my first order number was in the 20,000 and my second was over 40,000.

You've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?
Maybe they only fill orders on even number days? Or maybe just on odd days for an even number magazines? Or every other order? Or maybe they print all the orders, put them in a hat and draw a couple for that day?
