Wish you all luck, I personally just wanted to let you all know what was going on. It's a computer maybe it somehow crashed and lost orders who knows, but hopefully it will work out for you all. Just sent pm to 3 of you.

No, they did say they had corrected the problem.

Only thing is the situation has been frustrating when you order something over 6 weeks ago and then said they had in stock at the time you expect the product before people who order a week ago.

I ordered some last night and they were on my doorstep this morning- simply unbelievable!
Seriously, ProMag appears to really be screwing up, no surprise there.
I'm going to try my darndest to contact them today via email, phone and fax.
We deserve an explanation as to why people who ordered over a month ago have received nothing where some very recent orders are shipping right out.

yesterday i was able to modify the 10rd mag that they were willing to ship to me in OH. There is a long plastic bar that runs within the spring to stop it at 10rd. I took apart the entire mag (the stop on the bottom has to holes i just cut a wire hanger and bent into a U shape to get both of them). I then cut the plastic bar down in a rough shape matching the original design (I left about 1.5" of plastic under the follower) and then filed it to a smooth U shape also. Put the follower and the spring back in, screw the outer case back together and then compress the spring back inside the mag.
Loaded mine up w/ 30 Mini Mags and had room for 1 or 2 more.
I plan to take this to the range either this weekend or next to test it out. Will post another update.
My thoughts are this way to long to consider using as just a 10rd mag, unless you have no choice. The mag seems to pretty well built, one of the screws did just spin when tightened back up so be careful not to strip them. Entire process (not including loading) took about 15 minutes.

So if I'm reading all of this right, my order placed on 1/22 could be lost in cyberspace? And if I try ordering again I may have better luck? That sounds like a shame. I have been patiently waiting and it seems they aren't answering calls anymore, just leave a message and they'll call in 3 days. Email and they'll reply in 7 days. When I placed the order, they were in stock and the big red message wasn't on the main page, the next day (1/23) it was stating they were delayed as of 1/17. What's the deal?? I am losing faith in most internet retailers when it comes to these issues.

Short answer yes. I have an order from 1/4 2/4 and 2/20. When I saw that people were waiting less than a week I started calling and emailing and haven't heard back anything. My 2/4 order was supposedly in stock when I placed it. Actually I did get through the other day but was hung up on after calling BS when they said that orders weren't shipping in less than six weeks.

I just emailed them after reading your concerning post, along with others. Seems like a long wait for something from such a large company. Thankfully I have 6 S&W magazines to shoot with for now, but my patience is growing thin. At least I found a reliable source for ammo for less than $0.05 a round.

I'm sure the source is CMP except now the price is 5.5 cents a round including freight. Expected delivery could be as late as October.

It's a LGS and I won't be sharing the info, as I don't want to ruin the only reliable source I have found in 2 months of searching. Besides, they don't even have a website. I'm sick of hoarders and profiteers ruining any availability of ammo. I buy it to shoot it, not to rip people off and make money. They have been very kind to me and in turn I won't release their info to have them bombarded with orders from others looking to make a buck.

Not the case, see above post. I will no longer be dealing with Internet retailers for ammunition.

When did CMP get more .22 LR in? As of three weeks ago, there was none available. It would be nice if they had it in stock now.

Major,
You are right. CMP is sold out of .22 rimfire. A little is expected in May and some more in October. Will it be enough to fill the backorders only time will tell.
This from CMP on February 21:
AGUILA .22LR AMMO. As is the case with many other sellers of .22LR ammo, the CMP has been sold out. We had posted information that we were expecting a resupply in April or May. The distributor has just informed us that the manufacturer "maybe" will deliver 200-300 cases by the end of May, but the remainder of our order will not be delivered until "maybe" October. Many of our customers have already ordered from us and we will fill the orders as the ammo arrives, oldest order to newest order. Thank you for your understanding of what is currently happening to the ammo market in the US.

Okay, this has to be a joke. I also ordered 2 MORE mags from Promag yesterday, just to see if there was some glitch and they were shipping out new before old. Nada. I must be cursed.

It took me 2-3 days after ordering to get the email saying shipped it didn't happen in minutes like it used to before all this started.

Like I posted earlier my promag order included 2 32rd and 1 10rd. They sent me the 10rd mag and cancelled the 2 32rd'ers. I am assuming this is due to their mis-interpretation of the OH revised code.
I didn't get any email from them. Have tried to call (unable to reach anyone and voicemail box full) and email them (no response in 5 business days so far).
I was able to mod the 10rd mag and will use it as a 25 or 30 rounder. They never overcharged my card, but if given the option I probably would have gotten one more 10rd just to make the shipping costs feel worth it. I will post another update once i get to try this mag.

Ordered 6 on 2/3/13 then 2 on 2/22/13 then switched it up and ordered a couple of 223/5.56 mags on 2/23/13 just to switch it up. "PROCESSING" is the only reply and I can't edit any orders after processing starts. I just wanted a few extra mags for my rifle and a few for my wife's. Until then I reload my only mag while she empty hers with her pink 15/22 then she reloads her only mag while I play with various optic options for my 15/22. Oh well. Sure would be fun to have some extra mags...................................................

Well, if you've been following the replies it seems like I have a decent chance of receiving the second order within a couple of weeks.

Fyi... I ordered 2 promag 32 round mags on 2/10/2013
I got an email saying they shipped on 2/18/2013
Logged in to order to check on shipping but it had no #s
Checked CC and they charged on the 10th.

Join the club ordered 5 on 1/4 still processing, ordered 5 on 2/4 still processing, and ordered 5 again on 2/20 or 2/21 still processing. No answer to emails or phone calls and now the voice mail box is full.

I never got charged until it shipped. So check your credit card...
When I logged into site to look at order it had no shipping info....
