did you have to pay for the magazines up front or do they bill you when the mags become available for shipping ?

ProMag Order
They billed me today. So the answer is they charge your card after they ship.

I ordered on Jan 9th. Hopefully I'm not to far in line behind you. After all the different stories coming from S&W, I think promag will beat them... I ordered 2 25rdrs from S&W on Dec 19th which I suspect I'll never see.

22 ammo seems to be VERY scarce here in Oklahoma City.
I almost wish that ProMag would make a 20 round magazine. The 32 seems a little too long.

Just ordered 2 for me. I would have ordered more but the other day I spent an embarrassing amount on 2 magazines from GunBroker (wish I could cancel that order / would not have done that one)

Ordered a 10 and a 32 on the 18th and my status shows processing so I guess it'll be a while. That's OK though, at least I know they're working on it. Crazy times huh?

Haha... Honestly I prob ordered more than I should have, it was just difficult to gauge which sellers would actually get them to me. I have 3 on order from S&W, 2 promags, and the black dog drum. I may unload the drum if all 5 mags ship.

I ordered 5 mags on 1-11 and just received shipping notice yesterday. I didn't get a tracking number but the package should appear within 5 days. I think that to find a large mag now, this route is the way to go. It sounds like maybe they are catching up.

Could be that Promag is... A lot of people... only want to shoot factory mags... especially since most of the aftermarket mags malfunction... or in Promags case...that 32 rounder is impossible to shoot off a bench...unless you want to stand and shoot
since joining...i have heard enough feedback about the Promags working well enough... I will be trying a few out too.!!!

I ordered a couple just to see how they run. I figure that if I don't care for them, someone else will.

I assume its not accurate inventory correct? I never ordered from Promag. Does it say out of stock when there is none?

I just placed and order for 6 mags... 3-10's and 3-32's
The checkout page, or final page, says order is processing... they also state after the order was made... they are backordered and some where between 4-6 weeks out... They will not bill my CC until the order ships...works for me.!!!! they will update via email...
They are doing a better job than S&W on this part.!!!!!!

New to the website,
ordered 3 32 rd mags on 1/23/13.
by reading through this forum looks like they're getting shipped out between 3-4 weeks after ordered. doesn't seem too unreasonable considering the current situation.
I KNow this will sound silly but I actually don't even have the gun yet. Just got into shooting more with my old man about 3 months ago and contemplated buying a 15-22 for a while. Our ffl has three of them ordered and he's expecting to get them within 10 days. hopefully i can get one of them

Sounds like the aftermarket guys have the right idea. I paid a bit more than MSRP for a Black Dog drum yesterday, in retrospect I kinda wish I waited one day. Oh well. Never enough capacity, right? I'm gonna place a ProMag order myself (and hopefully my girl doesn't catch on to all my recent ammo/mag buying til my next check, lol).

Does anybody know what the PRECRAZY prices were... for the Blackdog M&P drum...
was just wondering as many people are upset over the sometimes hugely inflated prices on stuff from CTD.?????

That's a very good question...I know their site was selling the 15-22 drums for $99.99 (if I recall correctly) around the beginning of the month. Since CTD has such a lame reputation, I didn't even think to check their page at first. Saw that after I ordered my drum for $119 from a GunsAmerica posting.

What is the advantage of ordering a 10 round over a 32? They look the same length. Is it related to a possible ban?
Thanks!

Haven't seen one yet... just ordered 3...
I would bet that its internally pinned for those states that ban Hi-cap mags... and probably can be unblocked to hold there standard round count...
NEED someone that has a 10 count Promag to verify this thought...

It takes less than 2 min. to make a 10 round mag into a 25 mag, pop the pin. Take the slide off the bottom, pull the spring, take a slim flat head screw-driver, set it on the pin, take a ball-pen hammer give it one small wack... boom 25 round mag in lee than 2 min.

Ordered 3 32's earlier today nice to see normal prices on magazines that are actually going to ship hopefully soon. Got gouged a little from 44mag at $34 ea but they sold 500+ in less than 30 min from what i observed a few nights ago. Oh well ill be sitting pretty if a ban does go through they will be worth much more than that. Way i figure i blow a ton of money on other things so iguess its all in how i justify the higher prices

Better read the previous threads here... there are more that have problems with feeding and jamming issues WITH PT mags....than DON'T.!!!!
That said, its your money, buy whatever you wish.!!!!

I ordered 3 of the 32 round mags from pro mag on Jan. 15. My order still says processing, but it sounds like I am close to a ship date. Doesn't matter much I guess. Too cold to shoot for now.
