500 rd brick - 22 LR Super Max HP 30gr Aguila ammo - LIMIT 4 BRICKS | SGAmmo.com

Forget it. Gone already. Stupid website, as it shows up when I click show only items in stock, yet upon further review, it says inventory of -3.

Mine hasn't seen box 1 in months according to the counter guy. I'm starting to think the employee's a scoopin it up long before it hits the shelf.

And you guys seeing the huge "shipping costs" You most likely see "shipping and Handling". Handling charges are a very old trick to make the item seem cheaper because you don't see the acctual cost till you check out. Very rampant on fleebay. When I put in an item up for sale there is acctually a spot for "handling charge". All you see, if you are in a hurry like most people, is the price. Then after buying you notice the extra charges but it's to late.

Question for anyone that knows.
Is 9mm Luger ammo the same as 9mm for my autoloader CC pistol?

Just got tracking info for my Cabelas order. It will be here Monday.

Timing couldn't have been better timing. Found a Ruger 10-22 at wakkyworld and was shocked. I've always wanted one but my neighbor was looking for one also. I came home and told him if he did not buy it I would. Told him I would share my ammo. He is new to the sport and it just felt right.

Wow, that outfitters haven site is totally nuts, They charge you $13.99 per item to ship. Like its going to ship to you in individual boxes or something. I went to place an order for the Velositors. 20 boxes 122$ for the ammo, $279.80 for the shipping total of $401.80 or 40 cent per round.

Finally got ship order on some CCI Mini-Mag I ordered from Ammo To Go, ordered 01/22/13 shipped 02/14/13. They warned of long shipping times when you first hit the site but said if it was shown as inventory it was in stock. It will be here 02/18/13.

I got lucky(I guess??) this morning and found some Choot 'Em at Dick's Sporting Goods. They have now put a 1 box limit on bulk ammo. It was sold out within 5 minutes of the door opening. The madness will not stop!

Making a new folder for my favorites that says "Ram it in your fanny" for the dealers that are doing exactly that. Will check it first before I order anything in the future. Cabela's isn't on the list, my order is shipped and reasonable prices!

Default 5000 Eley Sport showing in stock

5,000 rounds .22LR 40 - grain SP Ammo - 388288, .22 Ammo at Sportsman's Guide

I would buy it but it's probably crappy. I read it's sub-standard, made in mexico.

UPDATE - sorry, tried to add to cart and it shows out of stock. Other items do not allow you to add to cart.

I wish we had a thread where only "in stock" posts are allowed. I get my hopes up every time I see this thread at the top of the forum.

fwiw, imo I think gunbot makes things worse.

Anybody know if these will cycle in an M&P22? I thought as a general rule we stick to 1200fps+ muzzle velocities.

dang it, i was just about to add the link, trying to help those who may have helped me before lol. For what it's worth and this comes from a newbie, this round does pretty well in my 50's era Colt and seemed highly recommended for those older semi-autos so one would think it would fire good in a newer model?

Anything over 1,000 fps will cycle virtually any semi-automatic. Sometimes less, depending upon the particular firearm.

if i may ask, was the pricing on those bricks of CCI std vel (considering freight) somewhat usual for that ammo, or was it jacked up some due to the panic buying/selling going on right now?

As a newb, just curious what i could expect to pay for ammo like that in more normal situations.. if that ever exists again.

thx!

I'm not sure about the normal price of the CCI std vel but sgammo does not jack ya on shipping like some places. I got 4 bricks and the shipping was only $14. That made the total cost per round at about 7 and a half cents.

well being new to the game i actually dont mind if/when i pay .07-.09 +/- to get some decent ammo so i can hit the range for some fun again. That may be different then the many long-time shooters here who are used to lower prices. I am just trying to get smaller qty's of different types/brands to see what the old Colt really likes, then go out and get a larger amount once i know what's best for it. And i figure if i have ammo that maybe didnt cycle well in it, i can probably use it when i pick up a newer pistol that maybe is more forgiving

Just spoke to Cabela's customer service. They have 11,000 boxes or rounds coming in on 2/25/13, and they are to fill backorders from November. This was for a particular 22lr, she didn't say which. Anyway, maybe put the date on your calendar and give it a shot.

Scored 7 boxes of 550 federal last weekend at multiple walmarts in my area. About $23 w/ tax. Around .04 cpr.

Finally I can relax a little.

That makes me feel better. My LGS had some 500 round bricks of CCI SV which he sold for $29.99. I got one, but he'll have more coming in. How well does this stuff work in the 15-22? I sighted in using CCI Tactical. Will there be a big difference in POI at 25 yards when using SV?

It may just be in my area, but it seems to be that plated (dipped) .22LR is absent. The local gun shops I visit have lots of CCI SV and Blazer in bulk, but no plated rounds. I've never shot raw lead in my .22s before, and I would prefer not to, but ya gotta shoot what ya can get.

I have so many shipments of .22lr coming to the house that I went out and bought a s&w m&p 22. this will give me the chance to practice shooting at a really cheap price. .04 cents is a lot chaper than .40 cents a bullet. I got the pistol for $339. If I shoot 1000 rds of 22lr that will pay for the gun as apposed to shooting my .40 cal. Does anyone have one of these .22 m&p's? how are they? I have 3,250 .22 rounds coming to my house from cabelas. When I called on the 12th the guy said that it was out of stock as soon as he got done taking my order. I just said to cancel it then. He said sorry. This morning I got an email saying that it shipped....lol. I had already ordered some from other places....so.....needless to say. I am going to have about 10,000 .22lr. I think I will be set.

I have one, and am very happy with it. Generally shoots just about any ammo well, but was a little picky with Federal Champion value pak until it broke in. Been shooting mostly Remington Golden lately. Good cheap practice for when I shoot my FS 9mm. You can get a lot more feedback over in the M&P Pistol forum.

I got the pistol for $339. If I shoot 1000 rds of 22lr that will pay for the gun as apposed to shooting my .40 cal. Does anyone have one of these .22 m&p's? how are they?
i'm actually interested in this q' as well as this was one of the new .22's ive been looking at. I did find a pretty extensive review of it earlier which i thought was quite helpful in it's "testing and results".. taken for what they are worth of course as i cant say one way or the other how legitimate they may be but others i'm sure can.
