Midway allowing backorder on Fed 325 pack
Midway allowing back order on the "sealed" can of Federal 325 $20 but limited to two and shipping for me was $16 so about .09/rd. Anticipated stock date is 06/30/2013 if you are still looking might be a good backup plan as you can cancel if you don't need it.

Fwiw, I wouldn't put too much trust on Midways backorder dates.. they have a habit of just switching the date out on the day it's supposed to be "in stock." Or at least that's what's been happening on most of my parts and ammo backorders through them. I've had no issues with them otherwise.. outside of losing out on other vendors sales expecting that I would get my order last year instead of this July/August. lol

I thought the follow picture might be of interest to those shopping for unfamiliar ammo brands such as Centurion. I bought this 5000rd case from LuckyGunner for $420 plus shipping (8.4 cents/rd). I placed this order last Friday and it arrived on Tues. That's pretty fast shipping from my perspective given the weight of a 22lr case.
The packaging is of a high quality including the plastic 50rd ammo trays in each small box. Of course until I fire several hundred rounds I won't be confident in its reliability in my 15-22. I've fired over 1500 rds without a single failure of any type using CCI SV so the standard is pretty high from my perspective. I hope to report back on reliability later this weekend for those that might be interested in buying this brand made in Mexico (I believe by Aguilar).

I received a similar 5k case of this; I've fired 500 rounds of it so far; had one or two FTEs, but that's on par with other ammo that I've fired. I put the JP Yellow Springs on a couple of days ago, and fired 250 round through it today, 1 FTE (it got most of the way out....) and one FTFire (it fired the second time).
I think it's a bit dirtier than other ammo I've used, but it shoots. I was hitting clay pigeons from 100 yds and paint balls from 45 yds with a cheap red/green dot... Can't complain too much...

Centurion Ammo
Just an FYI for those who got some, Centurion = Aguila, that is why the packaging is similar with the plastic inserts. Aguila is a Mexican manufacturer, imported by Centurion in Texas. Not sure if it is all made by Aguila with different branding on the cardboard boxes? Hope this helps. I've had good reliability with the Aguila.

Recently, a sales person at a local Walmart told me that they have had no 22LR for weeks, this despite the website showing 22LR being available during that time. The person also said that the store would repeatedly contact Walmart HQ and after many calls, HQ finally changed the status. The person said during that time the store was getting a lot of customers coming in expecting to find ammo and leaving angry.

No more buying 22lr for over $0.05 for this guy.

Damn, my oldest son use to work there too! He lives with his mother near the MD store. Gonna see if he still has connects at their store. Will also call shortly to see if they have any in stock. Might have to start paying him to pick me up some boxes. =)

This sub-sonic ammo is not recommended for a 15-22.

Actually, with a velocity in excess of 1,000 fps, it should function just fine in a 15-22. It's just standard velocity ammo, despite the name.

Update for those who ordered the CCI Blazer from Bass Pro yesterday. I got in on that pretty early and thought I was good to go because I didn't get a dreaded back order email... I was wrong.
I chatted with an agent today to get an update and she told me the order was "in process", but my order qty of 40 had been reduced to 10. She stated that the order maximum was 10 and all orders in excess of that were being adjusted down to 10 automatically. I then asked what the ship date would be and she said projected ship date is end of March because they basically oversold their inventory... So I guess I have an "in process backorder" as far as I can see it.
What a bunch of ****. Anybody else got any info about their order? I didn't cancel mine yet as I wanted to see what others were seeing, because even at only 10 boxes the price per round would be around 5 cents which is pretty good.

That is the same answer I got yesterday from them. I also went to the store and got 2100 rounds for 101.00. I did pretty good.

^ditto - same thing happened to me. They called me and left message stating my order was changed from 50 boxes down to 10 and put on indefinite backorder. You'd think that these companies, especially huge ones like Bass Pro would have a better inventory system.

That’s strange, I just called because I got the voice message last night (I did get the backorder email after my order yesterday) and they said they lowered my order to 10 and should ship today or tomorrow. She said they had received a shipment.

Hope that is accurate... I didn't cancel since the deal was pretty sweet. Just curious, what time did you place your order?

On the phone with Basspro now i ordered at 6 am for 150 boxes they have charged my credit card and have been told numerous times that the order would ship today I called to ask about the quantity of what would be shipping and she said she seen the order for 150 but they had 0 on hand and didn't know why it was charged and scheduled for shipment since they have 0 on hand waiting for a supervisor now to look further into it
Okay, they reduced my order to 10 and its shipping today they said they computer system didnt take the max quantity of 10 for some reason so they are re-keying all the orders that came in which she said was around 2400 before they took it offline
Oh well figured it was 2 good of a deal, She did confirm that my closest store nashville tn had over 100 500 count boxes in stock but that's a 2.5 hour drive

My order was placed about 7:25AM EST and I received the order confirm came at 7:35AM. Seeming pretty fishy here in my opinion.

For those of you yesterday that ordered the CCI blazers from Bass Pro!
Just checked my order and it has been switched to 10 boxes. Apparantly there was a 10 box limit per customer that the computer wasn't flagging so im out 40 boxes Customer service was no help!
