Call your Walmarts. Got lucky and found CCI mini mags. 3 box limit and a low shipment though.

I'm not buying anymore, so I post as soon as I see it. One less competitor.

In defense of PSA, TDI Brad posted yesterday morning that there were 11,000 people on the PSA site when it crashed. There aren't many small business servers that can handle that amount of traffic. I was in their store last Saturday, and the place was mobbed, so I am sure the internet traffic they get these days is overwhelming. At least they have kept their prices down, and the shipping is pretty reasonable. I had to pay SC sales tax as a state resident (8.5%), but otherwise I'm pretty happy. That being said, I was lucky to get my order in and confirmed today, but luck is the name of the game right now.

Question.....Did anyone order from ready reserve ammo on the 12th of Feb.? I got a confirmation and sale receipt from them. I have not received them or been given any shipment info....so, I called yesterday cause on the web sight it now says backorder only and expect to have them ready by 3/15. The lady was very nice and said that they were still working on orders from the 12th because it was extremely busy that day (prolly due to this forum...lol). She did say I would receive a shipment email or if I get pushed back to the next round an email asking what I wanted to do. Anyway, I was just wandering who ordered from them and have they received their ammo? Thanks.

I made calls to 5 walmarts starting at 10:00 (new pallets) hit the floor) Closest one is 40 minutes away I did this until 7:00am. I drove an hour to meet someone to sell a tablet and called 5 Dicks sporting goods, 5 Sports Academy and 5 other local dealers. Academy had 3 boxes (100rd each) But were another hour away. Other than that I found to boxes 50rd of cbees. I think I might sell my extra 10/22 SS takedown to buy ammo at this rate

Isn't a shame we now think 7.5 cents per round "is not that high"

no doubt. I have been pretty lucky and usually only paid around .05 cents for them. I did buy 10 cans of 333 from RRA. that would be 3,330 rounds for about .10 cents. I normally wouldn't have paid that but they are CCI mini mags and they are sealed with nitrogen for long storage. I may be a sucker falling for a gimmick. But, this will be part of my bulk keep for a rainy day like the last few months.....that is if I can ever get them to ship the dang things.

CCI standard velocity at Luckygunner $14.50/100
Still showing 100
Evidently high cost wasn't a deterrent. All gone now.

Thanks Superbob.....your my super hero! Just hope they go through soon. I don't need them ASAP as I have a good cache now. My guess is they are out and waiting to get more in on the 15th. They don't want to send out a backorder email and loose business.....that is only my 2 cents.....and not fact.

4 to 5 cents = great
6 to 8 cents = in this environment, not bad
9 to 10 cents = if you need them and have a hankerin' to go shoot
above that = crazy

You are probably right about the quantity. I ordered 2 bricks of Federal 22lr 40 gr at $22.99 each. Shipping was $11 and tax was $3.22 (damn SC tax!). That comes to $0.06 per round. Of course, they only have to ship it 100 miles down the road in my case.

Pulled up Sportman's Guide today. Apparently, I had put 5000 Winchester Wildcats in the cart a few months back and never did anything with them. I know that you can't add these into a cart now but there were already there with a note "expected delivery April 29th". So what the heck, I'll try to place the order. And in it went, got a confirmation email.
I wonder what will come of it?

OFFICIAL (IN STOCK) 22LR AMMO THREAD
Locally (se Wisconsin) just found winchester 22lr in 50 round boxes for 2.99 - limit 4 per customer. This is at the Farm and a fleet. Heck they even had winchester .223 for 10.99 a box. It really has been the first time I have seen ammo on the shelves in 2 months.

Tracer
Wish I could have gotten some of that blazer. Also wish I could get some of these tracer rounds. They look like they would be fun. Unfortunately I'm in California. They're expensive but in stock and look like a plinkin good time to me.

How did you determine truck days? My local Walmart says they get trucks daily but never know when one will have ammo.
Thanks

Most Walmarts gets delivery daily, and supposedly most of them restock by 7am.

I did, called them and they said it would be one month before the ammo arrived. What a difference between them and Lucky Gunner who ships out the same day...

They had 98 when I got there (I didn't order), then reloaded and they were at 28, then reloaded again and they were out. I hope some folks on this thread got some.

For the people asking about the orders from Ready Reserve (ammo in a can). I ordered 10 cans on February 9th; it shipped on the 17th and I received on the 22nd if I remember correctly.
Also got two cans from sgammo a few minutes ago...barely.

Was just going to bed and checked gunbot one last time. Picked up 2 from SGA. Only success I have had all week. Sad I'm exited about $.08 a round but sick of stalking Walmart. Thanks to whoever at SGA set a two brick limit or don't think I would have had a shot.

I'm hoping to find a brick or two soon... I'll have to keep my eye on this forum for a few days! I don't think .22 ammo will be returning to "normal prices" anytime soon!
