Thank you everyone!! Im teaching a gun safty class to 6 boy scouts coming up, and I would have had to cancel if it wasnt for members here helping me out. Im doing this so they can complete their requirements for their merit badges. And paying it forward. I wanted to due this to help the sport ive loved for over 32 years. Plus get some new people into shooting. The kool thing about this, was after talking with all the parents, most of them had never even handled a firearm before, are showing interest to learn about them safly. So now im teaching 6 scouts and 7 parents as well. They told me away from there kids they had some concerns. I told them why not host the safty class at there home and see what its all about, never thought id get so much interest. I was pleased to say the least. Im doing this as a favor to the scouts, which I was in some 26 years ago. And to get the younger crowd interested in the shooting sports. So thankyou again, the kids really appreciate it alot, and im sure the parents will as well. David

Long time reader, first time poster... Picked up a new revolver at the LGS (Hyatt for locals) and they had a limited selection of 22lr on the shelves. Prices were in the $.15 - $.30 / rd range. They even had a couple of the Remington buckets. Their website shows everything out of stock, but again, it is on the shelves.

Do you really think in this market CCI and others are putting a lot of effort into producing non-.22LR rimfire ammo? I have to believe the majority of their effort and focus is to produce as much .22LR as they can.

Ordered 2 boxes as well and just got the shipping notice...no problems what so ever. No delays, crashes, errors, etc that we are all used to by now. Funny thing is...it showed up on GB, heard the beep, clicked the link, made the purchase, went back to GB and it was no longer listed. 15 minutes later the link was back. Weird...

It was located here:
http://www.venturamunitions.com/winc...hp-555-rounds/
For some reason, I still have the page open but as you stated, it is no longer there.

For all of us that use Google Chrome as our Internet browser, have multiple tabs open for each ammo supplier and refreshing each tab one at a time, I just wanted to share this tip with everyone.
For those that don't already know, there is a browser add-in called "Reload All Tabs" that will allow you to reload all open tabs with one button click as opposed to opening each tab and hitting refresh. You can find the add-in here:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...boeonkam?hl=en
It has helped me find the latest deals as soon as they pop up. Only thing is, you gotta keep hitting the button. Hope this helps someone.

PSA got a chunk of CCI ammo in lately....22 magnum choot 'ems were on their site for most of yesterday...Their site crashed Mon or Tues when they put several different types of CCI .22 on it. Yesterday cases of velocitors were in the store (limit 1), last week it was the Blazer 525 packs. I don't think that's old rehashed stock.

I got 2000 rounds of CCI from SGAmmo a couple weeks ago. I have seen several online vendors selling their 500 round bricks lately. Had some CCI AR Tactical from Wal-Mart in Feb too.

i know the last time i was there to use the range (yes i buy ammo to shoot it lol), they did have some .22lr available for those in the range. Guess maybe that's an angle we who target shoot have to look for--use ammo that a range may have to save what we've already bought. These days it's all the same price anyway it seems, but that may help some shooters.

Im not trying to pry, just curious what state you live in, here in Fl ive gone everywhere 5 days a week and after 3 months i had scored 4 50 rd papper packs of standard velocity 40 gr RNL, and I payed 6 bucks a box plus tax. Went back with my wife later that week so she could get her 2 50 rd boxes and they were out. Not only out, but he said he wouldnt be carring 22lr anymore because of the price/availibility. I was shocked.

What kind of prices did they have on the Blazer 525? If it was $35-75, I'd bet it was old "rehashed" stock for profit.

I thought the same thing, but a couple of members said earlyer in this thread that they were in fact buying 22lr, they said for training. This is what was said a page or two back.

LAX came up on GunBot for .08 cents a round 2350 rounds about 2 minutes ago and their site crashed immediately, this is a sad state of affairs my friends. Guess the only thing to-do is back order, oops can't do that either.

$19.99. It was under $22 out the door with tax.
They have gone up on some of the 9mm, though. Am Eagle is now $16 used to be $15.

So miracles never cease to amaze me. I was on Ventura Munitions site at lunch time. I had just decided to create an account just in case they put something up. As I finished creating my account, I hit the 22lr page and hit refresh and BAM! There was Winchester .22 LR 36gr Copper Plated HP - 555 Rounds for $39.99 ... So I click to add 2 in my cart...but the website locks up like a crack addict... So I click a couple of time and finally get to my cart.. And when it opens there are 3 boxes in the cart. I say..what the heck ... And click check out... And just like that I have 3 on the way. Now I officially cannot buy anything including lunch for several months for fear of wife.

PM me your address and I'll send you 200 rounds at my cost plus shipping...even give you a choice of brand as much as I can. You are really making my point you know. If you want something during an economic dislocation, you can find it, it's just a matter of price. My price for daughters is cost. You'll be pleased.

If you keep an eye out here you can find some ok deals, but most of the time you will pay high premium. If you get stuck, after my class next week id could sell u a little at my cost plus shipping. Dont want to see any dad miss out time on the range with there little girl.

FAIR WARNING:
Hey guys,
This thread is to help folks find in stock .22lr ammo. I've posted several times in this thread asking for folks to knock off the bickering and to stay on topic.
From now on... posts ranting about gouging and hoarding, government, supply and demand lessons, bickering or general unrelated topic antagonizing chatter will result in a Off Topic Warning and points. Too many points and you lose access to the Forum.
Pertinent questions and answers, thanking folks for help scoring ammo and that kind of stuff is just fine. However, if your post looks anything like the below... don't hit the send button.
For general discussion not related to the 15-22 and accessories, please feel free to visit The Lounge http://smith-wessonforum.com/lounge/
Do Not Reply to this. Just stay on topic and help folks find ammo!
Cheers

Dude just shut up and go troll somewhere else. You aren't helping anyone. Without crooks like you, more of us would be able to find ammo on the shelves at decent prices. Now go away so we can get back to helping ech other find ammo..,[/QUOTE]

We are in this mess because of attacks on capitalism. Those that scream about the "gougers" are no different than those that demand "redistribution". It may hurt to realize that but it's the truth. As I posted earlier to a member "my price for daughters is cost plus shipping".

Im doing this for one reason, i love the shooting sports, and want to share that experience with as many non shooters as possible, even at my own cost. And i live off disability!

Maybe this is the Zombie Apocalypse we have been told about! Maybe we should just start ignoring these posts. Maybe they will get the picture.

I live in South West Florida and even with all the old farts here buying up everything that comes in I am still seeing some things available. 1 Bushmaster and a few Ruger 10/22s. Yes they sold out fast but still coming in. I will not pay the rape prices to the gougers, let them choke on their stock. When stock catches up and these people see they are going to sit on their pile they will start to slash their prices and it will be a free for all. LOL. Just be a bit more patient. Factorys took some time to catch up to the demand, I just got notice that Midway usa got in a batch of Hotlips mags. I bought two at 18 bucks each. Just do due diligence and keep and eye out and you will find buys. I have bought a lot of ammo at Walmart in the past couple of weeks. Sold some to people who could not wait at the high price, but only because they asked for some. One guy bought an AR for 2000 and wanted to put a few down range. 75 bucks for 80 rounds. I told him I did not want to sell but if he needed some I would sell for the going rate. He jumped on it. Oh well what do they say a fool and his money? Or a WB said when a man with experience meets a man with money the man with experience leaves a man with both

Ask the guy who drove 45 miles last night to buy 1950 rds fed automatch paying 14.5 cents a round and happy to do it. They are willing to pay the going rate. It's an economic dislocation and that is always where profits are to made. That's the beauty of free enterprise. Supply and Demand deciding what is a fair price.
This particular "economic dislocation" is no accident. And there are many more in many other areas to come. Get used to it. If you haven't been prepping you're done. Sorry to go off topic, but that's what driving this at it root. Many of you know what I mean. I am 60 and the saddest thing I have ever heard in my life was my wife saying, "thank God your father (who was a WWII Bataan Death March Veteran) isn't alive to see this." (meaning the state of the country). What the hell am I going to say to him when we meet up again?
So to those who are discouraged, if you are really fast on the net and keep up with it you'll get ammo. Those that are tired of the Wally World run around or server time outs....can go to gun broker. Thank God we still have some free market choice left.
