Magazine loading question
I have read on a few threads on here that it is so important to make sure that your magazines are loaded correctly with the rounds being staggered or it will jam or missfire. My son loads mags all the time and they are far from being staggered correctly and we have no issuse. Are we just lucky or is not really that big of a deal?
Do you have problems if your mags are not staggered properly?

The chance of a feed issue or even not being able to load the magazine to full capacity is higher. That's all.

I read a about a bit of that stagger theory before I got mine, loaded mine up willy nilly like any other mag when I got it and I have had zero issues. I have no plans to spend any time staggering rounds.. I just load it up and lock and load. I say - no big deal and not there will be no ROI.

I have had some issues not staggering mine but if it works for you then dont worry about it. a few ftf but no real big deal it keeps you on your toes. good to work on problem solving during range sessions

I loaded my first magazine ever for this gun today. I was aware of the desire to have the rounds "staggered" in the magazine. I simply put one round in at a time and they staggered perfectly. From what I had read here, I was expecting there to be some magic trick to it but there wasn't.

Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences. Sounds like it no big deal and not to be so concerned about so I will continue to teach him proper mag loading but until he gets it right, and his 15-22 doesn't start jamming or not feeding properly we will continue to just "bang away"

Follow the loading instructions in the owner's manual and the "concern" goes away.

That is correct. When all else fails, read the instructions.
