Default Real Quick Question About The Lower

So, Father's Day is coming up soon, and I was thinking about getting him a customized Smith and Wesson M&P 15-22. I was thinking about putting a fake eotech, cheap flip up backup sights, a grip, a sling, and a folding stock. I was thinking something like the Law Tactical folding stock, but didn't know if the lower receiver would let him fire with the stock folded to the side. Would he be able to fire the rifle with the stock folded to the side ?

M&P15-22 has a fixed (molded) buffer tube, so the folding stock isn't an option.

I believe someone has chopped the stock tube to put on a folding stock but it required some work. I'm an avid M&P supporter but I also believe in finding the right gun for your needs and preferences. That said, if the folding stock is a must have, have you considered the sig 522? It has a higher price tag than the 15-22 but is just as reliable and fun to shoot as its counterpart.

I don't think its worth your time and effort. Yes it can be done. Yes it will shoot with the stock folded.
