OD Green Plastic Ammo Boxes by PLANO
With the run on ammo, it seem like there are no Plano green plastic ammo boxes around at any stores in area. I was fortunate to get some online cheap along with reasonable shipping. 5 boxes with shipping for under $39.00. These are the small storage box not the ones with a tray.
Hopefully this will help some of you guys out.

Hey thanks! I picked up 3 of these from a local store but they sold out by the next day. They work much better than the larger size I had been using. Packed full of ammo they get pretty heavy, these are just right. I ordered 5 also.

I bought 22 of them a few weeks ago. They had free shipping for a $100 order. At $4.98 apiece it took 21 to get them shipped free. A guy at work got 4 from me, and yes I did gouge him for an extra profit, by 2 cents each!
I'm actually surprised how quickly I'm finding stuff to go in them...maybe will order another 22, just wish I could find the other color, I have 4 I got somewhere that were bright orange.

I wished I had seen this thread before ordering 3 from Cabela's last week...at $14/ea! They look to be the exact same box.

If they are the same Cabela's branded boxes that I have then the Cabelas's ones are a bit bigger. They are 15.75"L x 7.75"W x 10"H where as the 1312's from RuralKing are 9.5"L X 4.25"W X 6"H. The 1312's work great for a 100 pack of mini-mags standing up, you can fit 2 packs across the width and the height is just right too.

Cabela's sells two sizes. You bought the larger of the two. What you wanted was the smalle one.

I prefer the steel mil surp cans. The plastic ones bend too much if you try to move them when full. I had the handle snap right off one of them.

No, I am pleased to find that the Planos are smaller. I like the Cabela's can and wanted to match up with the others I already had. OCD is a terrible thing.
And BTW, my Cabelas cans came today after only a week. They were listed as BO for 3-4 weeks. My order of CCI Tactical .22LR was the same thing. I've been pleasantly surprised twice lately.

I think I would have gone with those too. I spent about $9 for one of these small ammo cans at Army/Navy. I made an attempt to camo them.
