Default Brownell's backorders

For anyone who has CCI 22lr on backorder with Brownell's I just called them to check on my order and was told that they're not expecting their CCI delivery until mid March and a second delivery in mid April.

Ouch... I'm waiting on 5 boxes of Blazers from them myself. My ammo cans are getting a little bit too bare for comfort too.

Thanks for the info, at least I've got a better idea of how long I need to try to resupply/ration for.

Nice being ahead of the game. I'm not overly, actually I'm not worried at all about ammo. I had aleady been well stocked on everything from WAY back. About 5 years ago they mentioned on the news that the Military was getting short and started buying some civilian ammo to keep their stocks intact. That set my "alarm" off and I tripled ALL my stock overnight and kept on over buying until prices started climbing to the ridiculous levels they are now. I know quite a few other people that were doing the same thing. We also got fantastic deals buying in bulk and nicer prices on different items we were after. Our LGS loved us.

I, also, am very well stocked. But, I never have and never do stop looking for ammo. Been looking for years on a regular weekly or monthly basis. it seems a little more amplified lately I admit, but I have about 5 BO's with 3 companies for a total of about 15k in rounds of various calibers and if none of them come, it's cool. If they do come, I got good prices and more ammo

We "could" all buy ammo daily, I just don't pay sucka prices. I wait for the better deals and if I told you some of the deals I have gotten over the years, they do come around.

Ok, I will tell you of one in particular About 2 years ago on Craigslist I went to go buy 1000 rounds of 5.56 at 30 cent per. Common price. Well, I get it home and dump out the ammo can and .. at the bottom were 3 hi cap pre ban AR mags. 1 of which is a rare 30 rounder by a company called Sterling and at that time, the last one sold on Gunbroker for $230. I kept it of course
