Default New m and p 15-22

Wanted to post my experience with my new m and p 15-22. I bought the basic rifle and it came with one mag. My youngest son and I went to the range today with the rifle that I bought earlier this year. Shot Winchester bulk ammo from Wally World or cabelas. We used the loading assist (better term? ) on the side of the mag. I wanted to ensure that the rounds were seated properly. So, I inserted a round, and then let it up. Repeat. Magazine seated properly. Bolt locked to the rear, released bolt, round chambered. Fired 25 rounds. Repeated 5 times on a 25 round , s and w mag (only one I had). I know this is kind of of weak for a report, but can't do much with one mag. I had no issues. The purpose of this rifle for me is FUN. Not my round of choice for self defense. My youngest son ( 23 ), really loved it....mike

Congrats on the 15-22. They are a lot of fun to shoot. Get more mags when you can it will make the trip much more enjoyable.
