Just got back from Belleville, IL gun show. They got a 15-22P over there for $925 :0 Only one I saw around here in long time. A couple 15-22 A1 for $559.
Ammo: One of the dealers has 500rds of golden bullets for $70 .14/rd!!! HAHA Tons of other ammo about $5 more than Walmart so not too bad. plenty of .32, .380, .40, and .45. Hardly saw any 9mm. Overall, they have an excellent selection and it seems prices are coming down a bit! Definitely worth the drive over!

So, I keep seeing these posts where 15/22 pistols are being bought for reasonable prices - $450-$500 at LGS, etc. However on GB/Gunsamerica, etc prices are $900+. Just a thought/question: Is it possible the person selling has someone bidding to get the price higher? I know there is a name for that and know it is forbidden, but seems like a HUGE disparity in prices. We have seen several posts in the last month of these guns being bought for reasonable prices. I do not doubt they are "collectible" and can bring somewhat of a premium. I remember a post trying to estimate the number made and no one could come up with a real quantity. Maybe they made more than we think. In the world of gundom, we are a small forum so there could be thousands of them out there. I would personally say they are the second most useless gun, next to a Barrett 50BMG - and I have recently acquired 2 (not 50bmg!) Maybe the GB prices are from those not interested in searching/driving/scrounging, etc. To me that is half the fun - kind of like a little adrenaline rush when you find something stuck in a corner or the bottom shelf. Anyways, just wondering.
got it a place in edgewater,don't even know the shops name ,but john is a super guy to deal with..........the other one for 639 is at smyner shooters supply,good people in there as well...........i think maybe the guys bidding them up to 900.00 plus either don't have the time to look or they live in the boonies with no lgs around.........or have lots of money................plus i think we were lucky.
maybe so. that is at least 4 in the central florida area in the last month! At least we can be known for something other than Mickey Mouse and Dirty-Tona (Daytona)!
