With all the talk about the fixed stock and removing the pin or wanting to replace the stock outright. Does anybody have the actual instructions or video on how to remove it? That way we can put this thread to rest and the people who want to adjust or remove/replace the stock finally can.
This worked great for me. Find a drill bit that is larger then the hole in the pin but smaller then the diameter of the pin. Slowly drill center of pin about .25 inches deep and the bit will start to bind into the pin. Then lift up on the bit and it will pull the pin out. Once removed you can use a 4mm tap with .7 pitch to tap the hole after pin removal. Then buy a 4mm x .7 x 16mm grub screw to relock stock in a different place, or you can simply replace the stock with a different one.

No problem use a 5/64 drill bit on the pin go slow pin is not perfectly round do the bit will bind alittle when drilling. Once bit starts to bind pull up and pin will come out attatched to the drill bit.

I drilled the pin all the way out, cleared the remaining debrIs out of the 1/4"+ hole, wallowed the drill around, pulled the stock release as far open as I could and beat the stock with a hammer. Still no dice. I am open to any suggestions, and thanks in advance.
