Got a new scope!
Just received my Primary Arms 1-4x illuminated scope. I mounted it in a TMR mount that looks exactly like the PA mount but cost 15 bucks less. The scope comes with flip - cap covers, is super bright and has the German #4 reticle with a red lighted center dot ( dot is tiny..... 1/2 MOA I think ). The mount came with an extra top cap that has a 3-slot Picatinny rail on it. I mounted my TRS-25 red dot on it, but the scopes German #4 reticle allows for very fast target acquisition when then scope is on 1x, so I felt that the TRS red dot sight was overkill. The scopes lighted center dot is useless in the day, even on brightness setting 11, but is awesome in low or no light conditions, plus if you close the front flip cap and leave the illumination turned on you can actually use the scope like a red dot sight, but without the unlimited eye relief. Total weight of the scoped rifle with a loaded factory mag in it is 6.4 lbs.
I also received my Promags from TA, but I left them on my bed, forgot to shut the door, went out for a while and came home to discover all 4 mags in my living room, all out of their packages which were shredded, and my pitbull puppy sitting by the mess wagging her tail..... 3 Promags survived, one did not..... R.I.P.

Looks good, PA is hard to beat IMO
I went back & forth over the 1-4X & the compact 3X, ended up with the 3X.

You're right about PA. The first scope I got had some screwed up threads on it and Brett from PA shipped replacement to me within a week. Awesome customer service!

I bet you're one of those guys who used "the dog ate my homework" line in school.

With owning pit bulls it's usually "the dog ate my homework, my shoes, my couches, my pillows, my TV remotes, my dvd's, my guitar cables,
etc."

I wouldn't trade them for anything though.
