My 15-22 mags that I ordered on Dec 27 were shipped today. I had almost forgot about them as they were to be a gift for a friend.

The ones I ordered on Dec 18 were shipped last Tuesday, and I got them Friday. They must have got in quite a few if they still have some to ship a week later.

S&W doesn't actually get finished mags from a 3rd party. They have the mag parts shipped to their factory in Springfield, Mass. for final assembly. I assume the parts are from Asia. They have a limited capacity for mag assembly so it could actually take many weeks to assemble mags for standing orders.

I posted in the other thread as well, S&W shipped me a package that is being delivered today. I think it is the two 25 round and two 10 round magazines I ordered

While I see a lot of guys saying they are receiving orders they placed in December..... I want to say I placed this order right about a month ago....I'll post again when I get home to see what is in the box

Thanks for the encouraging news on the mags. I'm a new gun owner in CO, the mag ban originally excluded rimfire and I found out a short time ago they put rimfire in the ban. Placed a order last week, just hoping to get them before the July 1 deadline. I did find a couple of 32 rounders (which I bought), but prefer the 25s.

Pending charge hit my card the week of 4/15, then dropped off again. Pending charge changed to processed last week, and I got them on 4/25. Ordered by phone on 4/01.

Where were you able to place orders from in the last week? I've been poking around so I could try my luck at getting a couple S&W mags before July 1 as well. Been able to get all the the larger than 15 mags I need except for these.

If you search the forums there are threads that pop up from time to time saying who has mags is stock

i placed an order for 5- 25 rounders about 3-4 weeks ago from s&w,112.00 delivered.guess i have a long wait,but in no big hurry.I'm just glad i'm not paying 65.00 plus per mag.

Just call S&W customer service and place your mag order over the phone. I ordered 4 - 10rd Longs and 2 - 10rd shorts on Feb 28. I received the 4 - 10rd longs 5 weeks later on 4/6. The 2 - 10rd short mags are still on backorder. Price is about $23/mag including shipping.

You should go ahead and sign up for notifications for these ProMags from Vantage Smith & Wesson - Tactical Vantage or anyone else how isn't gouging.
The ten round can easily be modified to a 32rnd and I have had good experience with mine

The package I received yesterday contained the two 25 round magazines that I ordered over the phone from Smith last month

I still have four 10 round short magazines on b/o

Sweet! I called up S&W and they supposedly have the 10rd long mags in stock. My CC was charged immediately so hopefully those will be here in a few days and if I don't get the "regular" 25 rounders I can mod the 10s.

The lady on the phone was plenty helpful in making sure I knew I just had to drill out the pin. She was surprised the mags were listed as in stock.

There's really no need at all to drill out the pin to convert a 10rd long into a 25rd mag. Just follow these steps and you'll have a 25rd mag in 30secs or less:

1) Remove the baseplate and spring
2) Shine flashlight inside to locate pin
3) Place mag (mag lips down) on a folded towel that's on a hard surface
4) Insert long flat screwdriver into baseplate opening and rest screwdriver blade on pin
5) Firmly but gently strike the screwdriver handle about 3 times
6) Shake loose pin out of the mag case and reassemble.

You now have a 25rd magazine.

Just be careful you don't damage the feed lips, support it by the mag not the feed lips.

Agreed. I folded a bath towel 4 times to protect the mag lips. It doesn't take a hard strike to knock the pin out. Just gentle but firm and after 3 or so strikes the pin will fall out. Its just a small rolled pin that's easily bent with a flat screwdriver tip.

And u can buy the 10rd mags cheaper, lol. But u still end up with a 25rd mag when ur done. =-)

My order placed on 1/13 for 5 25-round mags shipped yesterday and just arrived, lol. I think they messed up the shipping date, but the important thing is they're here.

I ordered mags for BG380 on March 15 and charge on my credit card just hit - not sure if that means they shipped yet - but I would imagine very soon.

edit - mine arrived on April 17 - so about 30 days.

I ordered my mags from S&W Christmas Eve. I received them yesterday.

Merry belated Chrismas I still have not gotten mine ordered 12/21 they told me they were to be shipped by yesterday guess I'll call again.

I noticed the "Pending" charge from S&W which showed up on Monday has dropped off my debit card. Never got an email telling me they had been shipped or my order was cancelled. The mystery continues.

Why does S&W hate me so? Still no shipping confirmation from my order from 12/22, and the "pending" charge has fallen of my card too. This sucks....

Update OK I can stop with the jealousy and whining got conformation of shipment for mine yesterday. There on their way by FEDEX with tracking

They were due to arrive today, but got here yesterday and I took them over to my friend's house as a late Christmas present.

Per my reply here in the Mags Were Shipped Today thread, I ordered two 25rd mags by calling S&W directly on 4/10/13. Just came home and to my surprise there were two 25rd mags waiting for me in my mailbox. 19 day turnaround for mags that were on "death backorder". Not bad. Not bad at all!

What's odd is I never received an order confirmation or shipping notification from S&W. I'm not even sure if my credit card was ever charged. (Edit to add: Just double checked and I was billed on 4/24/13)

Another oddity... One of the mags didn't come with a load assist button. I double checked and they're both 25rd mags. Both have the red followers and neither of them stop after loading 10 rounds into them.

I talked to a rep at smith and wesson and he said if you call in and place an order they don't have a place to put email notifications.
Can't wait till my 10 fde 25 rounders arrive. Shipped on Thursday the 25. They said about ten days, hopefully not that long.

I placed my order online, 5 10rnd longs and 2 10 rnd shorts, received the longs and still waiting on the shorts. No emails at all. Knew the longs were on the way because of the charge on my CC. Still waiting on the shorts.
