Default magpul moe commercial stock

ok guys so I need some ideas on how to get the play (wiggle) to go away on my buttstock. the stock is comm and not mil spec. when I bought the stock I didn't pay attention that it was comm spec. so now there is alittle play in it. probably not a big deal to most, even the oem stock had play. but, I prefer it to be more snug. any ideas?

Small strips of electrical tape? (Just gotta get em inside the stock, that's the tricky-ish part.) I accidentally got the commercial moe stock a few days ago and mine was EXTREMELY tight on my 15-22 for some reason. Luckily I was able to return it and get the mil-spec though.

Someone here said they used the loop part of sticky backed velcro and it worked well.

YMMV.

Spend a few extra bucks and get the CTR Mil-spec version with the lock down lever. No tape, no wobble and smooth as a baby's butt.

Just sell it on fleabay. You'll get almost all of your money back there.

^^This!

It is never a wise idea to modify firearms with things like tape and other odd items you may find around the house.

While i usually agree with this sentiment, adding tape to the "buffer tube" of the 15-22 to take out the wobble in the butt stock won't hurt anything.

I also agree with an above poster to try and sell the com. Moe and either buy a Mil spec Moe, or if you want no play at all, go with the ctr.

I have the ctr on mine with the long butt pad and it is near perfect for me.

CTR eliminates ALL wiggle... You will be glad you spent the extra money on it.
