Default Swapped Parts Between 10 Round Long and Short Magazines

Ok, got 4 10 round long and short when MidwayUSA had them in stock last week. I drilled the long and removed the pin and swapped the follower and load assist buttons between them. I then order the blue load assist button from Raven Eye.

Curious why you switched out the follower? Did you try tapping the pin out with a hammer & screw driver. I knocked mine out the other day & it was real simple... and left no hole in the magazine.

He probably just wanted a mag that looked like the normal 25 rounder including the red follower. I also tapped out the pins with a hammer and screwdriver. Got two 10 round longs this week from MidwayUSA, took 5 minutes to convert them. Shot with them this morning, work great.
