After a long 13 day wait, yes I live in NJ, my NICS came through today and I was able to pick up my new M&P 15-22. I am very happy to finally have it in my hands. Won't be able to shoot it until Friday, so for now I'll admire it and clean and read about it. I've been following this forum for quite some time now and appreciate all the advice given.

Great little rifle. I have one with Magpul flip up front and rear sights, Nikon P-22 BDC scope w/ UTG quick release mount, Magpul foregrip and sling. No FTE or any other problems using cheap Federal bulk. No problem hitting out to 100 yards. Highly recommend.

This is S&Ws most popular rifle and for good reason, enjoy yours. These are another home run from S&W.

I can totally understand what your excitement.
My gun is somewhere in a 20 mile radius on a fedex truck on its way to my FFL just down the street! I have been clicking refresh on the tracking page every 15mins!
N also, if you dont mind, how much did you pay for yours?

Congrats, I have had mine for a couple of weeks and finally got to go shoot it this morning took about 20 shots to dial in iron sights and about 10 to dial in red dot, the the fun began I could not stop laughing the whole time I was shooting it because it was so much fun. Used cci mini mag rnds with 25rd,10rd, and 35 rd mags without one miss fire or jam. My buddy that was with me shot it and said he is getting one now, what a great fun gun.

I just bought mine on saturday...the 50 mile drive to and from and 10 minute wait for the bg check was killer...i can't imagine waiting any longer. i finally got to shoot it on monday. it took 4 rounds to get the utg red dot dialed in...then the fun really began...

I really like your setup and I was wondering what all the add ons were, like what scope, light and all? Could you also be specific since im a noob at all this.

it is red dot only...utg also makes a magnifier that sits in front of the scope. i believe amazon has the combo now for about 100. if you want them as one unit, the price goes up to more than i was willing to spend on a .22.
