Default Standard stock for Magpul MOE stock?

Is it easy to swap my standard stock for the Magpul MOE version? I am new to this game and need some feedback please.

FWIW, search in this case doesn't yield much IMO.

It depends if you have a pinned stock or not, pinned stocks are locked in an open position and cannot be adjusted and are only on "compliant" models for "compliant states" , the roll pin can be removed to swap stock but drilling may be required to pin MOE stock

If your stock is adjustable I am pretty sure it is a very simple swap.

There is nothing to it. To remove the original stock, push in the lever just like you were to adjust the position, then you have pull down and hold, forward of the pivot point on the adjustment lever and the stock slides right off. Basically reverse the operation for the MOE stock. Just make sure what ever stock you buy is for a mil spec receiver extension.

Like others said, very easy. make sure to get the "Mil spec" version, not the "commercial spec". One word of advice though. The CTR is not much more. And very worth it due to its second clamp which makes for a very rattle free butt stock. The MOE is an upgrade by far for the basic 15-22 model. But for not much more, the CTR is a huge upgrade.
