So far it's Looking good, the bolt slams shut, all the way.... I had some filling to do, we'll a lot to do. To get her to seat properly...
I had it the 2 different charging handles cut and welded together.... It's all aluminum, no flimsy plastic here......
Now the cost.......... Well it was only $75 to cut n weld, and everything else I had to buy.
Rainier Arms Raptor charging handle $85
Plinker tactical I think was $70 when they first came out
So about $230 for a charging handle. And alot of shaving on my part, for the welds that had to be smoothed out. And for me it's worth every penny, cause I love the raptor style....and I wanna stand out from every other 15/22 ....

So it's the stem of the Plinker welded to the latch head of the Raptor. That's one expensive charging handle.

Get them mass produced and I'll take one!
I may just have to steal this idea.

Where else but in America would someone build a $230 part to replace a $5 original part? Some might think this silly or excessive, but I love it! I have a Raptor on my AR and it is just incredible, so why not for the 15-22?
Great job!

Is that filling with compound or filing with a file?

Holy moly that's over half what I paid for my MOE! It does look awesome though if it was 50 bucks I'd be all over it.

I will in another thread when I am really ready to make the announcement.
This one looks nice and is along the lines of what I am going for, but from a machined piece of aluminum.
I don't want to hijack this thread, so lets get back to Bx_X great creation.

Thanks a lot tacticool22 .... Means a lot coming from vendor as in your self and others..... And I can't wait to see what u got coming.....
But I do believe I'm done for now, unless others got ideas for me..... My new project is my rem. 887 tactical.... I got a few things already brewing in my head that others haven't done already, or posted on forums at least....

I don't read that many threads/posts around here lately, so the good ones stick. As a left-handed shooter, I'm interested in anything ambidextrous for my rifles.
