Help with shroud. (Updated) with pictures installed
My daughter M&P 15-22 need one last thing a barrel shroud & it's done.
Mods:
1 point sling adapter with sling
Truglo 40 mm red dot
Utg X3 magnifier
Rail covers
Red Laser pointer or sight
180 lumen flashlight with strobe funtion
Grip with a button that deploy bi pod legs
Magpul mbus pts
Oh wait in the future a stock, you never stop upgrading.
Ok shroud option that I like. She likes all 3 so the most votes gets order Friday.
State the number that you like in the reply.
Well a promise is a debt, so here we go
I tried to install but I don't have the tools so gunsmith by today or tomorrow

I like option #3. I believe that one also has the integrated flash suppressor on the end. (Not that it matters on a .22) Haha.

I gave her the choice, like all females do. They can't make up there mind. So I told her I do a poll.

You need a vice to hold barrel or the barrel will move, iI tried it to be cheap install the shroud & every other shoot was a FTF, went to Wendy's got a frosty & start thinking.
First I cleaned the bolt will goback but not completly go forward & the bullet will not go in all the way.
Ok put the A1 flash hider back in & tighten it the barrel moved a slight. Put in mag shoot whole mag rapid without problem
Took the A1 back out but this time very careful , put in the shroud from Keneti-tech now no problem. For beeing cheap it almost cost me. As I know warranty won't cover custumer stupidity .

I'm not really feeling any of those choices.
But I'm glad to hear your daughter is happy.

I've heard of this happening to more than one person. Anyone changing the flash suppressor on the 15-22 needs to purchase a barrel vice. No other way to do it properly.

I know is was going to, but with all the $ I'm spending. was trying not to tell the wife that I needed more cash. I even told her that this will be my Fathers Day gift for me not to hear it.
But thank God everything is fine now.
Imagine me telling my daughter that Daddy broke her favorite (toy) rifle, that it will be a while before she can shoot it again. Thank God I don't have to see that look in her face, the look of sadness.
It would have broken my heart>
