None that I am aware of over the counter, although there is one competition/exhibition shooter that had one custom made.

I have to ask why would you put an aftermarket barrel on a polymar framed rifle. These are not match grade guns are they? For their intended use they are very accurate right out of the box. Now if the upper was billet aluminum, and the barrel was match grade and a little longer, maybe a different story. With a free float fore grip and better upper you might have a contender. But price would certainly reflect in the end. This is just a fun gun to shoot., nothing more.

Understand your point, just exploring whats out there. I saw on a tv show that Miculek changed the handguard and barrel. I was just curious if any barrel options are out there.

I can jump off a bridge... but the result would not be too pretty. IMO, same as trying to get great accuracy from the 15-22.
My solution is to purchase a bolt action 22. Just ordered a CZ 455 Varmint, which also gives me the option of easily changing barrels and shooting .17 hmr if I want even better range & accuracy. Will thread the barrel so all my 22s can be shot suppressed.

Nope... non that i am aware of. And the market does not dictate that anyone will produce one in the near future. This rifle does not warrant an aftermarket barrel. It is a trainer- plinker fun gun, nothing more. But they are one of the coolest looking .22 plinkers out their. So I would stick to accessorizing what you have with tactical gear, lord knows it's light enough to put a buttload of accesories on it and not end up with a tank to carry.

If you want an accurate .22LR. The AR platform isn't where you should be looking. You should be looking more into a bolt action or possible a 17hmr (if u want to stay small and cheap).
There are a few guys here who actually have a 15-22 in SBR. If you ask me, i often wonder why one would want a .22LR in SBR format. It's not like it's going to be any more accurate, LMAO. But some people like to spend BIG money on cheap fun.

All of the guys I have seen who SBR their 15-22 also shoot suppressed. Makes for a much shorter package and if you cut em down to 4.5'' or so you can also shoot cheaper HV ammo and stay subsonic. I'll probably SBR my 15-22 one of these days, just haven't got around to it.
Nobody said shooting was cheap...
Gun $450
Barrel Threading $50
Can $350
Tax Stamp $200
MBUS $100
Couple extra mags $50
PA MicroDot $125
AFG $25
Houge $15
Case of CCI SV $300 ($500 at today's prices)
So there's close to $1700 before you even get to the range. Another $200 tax stamp for SBR.... A mere pittance my friend... a mere pittance.

Oh i agree SBR looks cute and suppressed its fun. But for the money spend on making it that way, it doesnt have much of a performance gain (if any at all).
I'd rather take my .300 AAC, convert to SBR and suppress it. Then in return i have a weapon that performs better than a normal 16". All that money spent, at least u get cool looks and better over all performance of the weapon. Plus its easily reloadable because the brass is everywhere (if u cut down the 5.56 cases). And since ur reloading ur .300 AAC, u can also reload other center fire calibers. In this case, once again its money well spent.
I just cant see doing that to my .22LR. Thats like install Colt internals to your Taurus 1911. It's still a Taurus, LMAO

I think "ur" missing the point of making an SBR and suppressing a 15-22. "Ur" not going to see a performance increase as in more accuracy or longer range, but "ur" rifle will be shorter and "ur" rifle is much quieter, which is the whole point for many stamp collectors.
("ur").

You can improve accuracy by installing a stronger material handguard because now the barrel is locked into a metal or CF piece that reduces flex. At that point it might make sense to look at a better barrel. Jerry had one made by Lothar Walther.
But putting a real match barrel in a stock setup would not help much. I know because I have both a regular and PC model 15-22. I think Jerry's is also a bull barrel.

Wonder how much he paid?
don't care to but a lot of people are into spending alot of money trying to get their Honda civic to run sub 14 sec...when a stock mustang can easily achieve it.
