Default Which mount/riser for red dot co-witness?

Hi All,

I have an ultradot 30mm red dot for my MP15-22and will be using the Magpul MBUS 2 flip up sights. What do you all recommend for a mount/riser so I can use the red dot and co-witness with the MBUS 2 sites?

I don't have that exact red dot, but I do run a Bushnell 28 mm red dot that should be very close in size and style. I initially purchased a .75 riser but it was too high. A .5 riser was perfect though. That is for exact co witness anyway which is how I wanted it. I think it would work out the same for you.

A medium riser for absolute cowitness. A high riser for lower 1/3. I like the lower 1/3 cowitness.
