Default Notched Hammer RRA 2 stage

I found a deal on a used Rock River Arms 2 Stage Trigger, but it has the old style notched hammer. Do the notched hammers run in a 15-22?

I've already done the 15 minute trigger job and I'm not satisfied with that.

You mean a notch at the rear of the hammer? No reason it shouldn't work; the 15-22's FCG is straight AR.

No, some hammers are notched on the front.

Yes the FCG is the same, but the bolt is not. So the notch might matter in a 15-22

As long as the flat of the front of the hammer mates with the rear of the bolt, it will work just fine.

Some of the aftermarket AR rimfire uppers don't play well with a notched hammer. M&P 15-22 I have no idea. My DPMS 22lr runs best with a non notched hammer.
