A thread for owners of the M&P15-22P Pistol to show them off

I know, 15-22P Pistol seems redundant since P stands for pistol already, but that's how it's written up on S&W's site, so it shall be.

Show yours off, talk about what mods you've done, stories of your long quest to find one, humbrag about how little you paid for yours, trivia, information, anything goes!
(Although I would like to avoid having this thread turn into NFA bickering, misinformation, and talks of legality of vertical foregrips and all that hoopla.)

As is customary, I'll start-

Nothing done to it but rail covers that make a nice holding surface, a new grip, and a reflex sight. I picked it up a month and a half ago when my gf decided she wanted to start shooting. Got it for $350 which I didn't realize at the time that these were so rare and discontinued.
I'd like to know just how many of these were actually produced in their 2-year run, and what the MSRP was on them.

I had been looking for one since i first heard they even existed.. really difficult to find. In desperation, i considered the HK version - and once i looked into it - it could not hold a candle to the 15-22p (especially since i own 2 15-22's - one each for my wife and myself).

I finally located one and after some effort i got it. It is a gas to shoot - lots of fun, but primarily a plinker for me...
