Default Now is the time to get one...

If you were on the fence...seems like prices have dropped all over. Even the one LGS in town that seems to price everything at strait up MSRP is selling the threaded barrel version with A1 style comp (811033) for $349... I paid north of $400 at a different LGS a few months ago and got a good price (for the area) at the time.

They are dropping the prices because the ammo cost too much to shoot. So now days no one is wanting to buy anything in .22lr.

$349 is a good price so I wouldn't hesitate if I were looking for a 15-22.

It doesn't do you no good if you can't get ammo to shoot. That is why all .22LR guns have been going on sale and selling cheap. Bought my wife a Ruger SR22 with 3 Mags last week brand new from a local store for 299.00. She loves the gun, and we have about 15,000 rounds of CCI mini mags and 5,000 rounds of various ammo she can shoot. All my other loads we reload, or can buy locally. My favorite being .223 or 5.56.
Bought 80lbs of brass off a guy yesterday for $1.70 a pound for .223. I almost felt guilty having him carry it to my truck. He was a happy camper though. Me even happier. I bought it for scrap price.

Smitty, how can you say that after you posted the pile of CCI Blazer bricks available at Cabela's for $27.99? Cabela's has it available weekly online too.

The manager at Academy looked at me like I had lost my mind when I purchased a Ruger American Rimfire in .22lr last week.
