Default NEA copies 15-22????

Just wondering if any of you have seen this???

Wonder if parts are swappable? That would be wicked to have a shorter barrel.

It's not a 15-22 copy. This appears to be a .22 upper on an actual (or close) copy of an AR. Look that the butt stock, the bolt body in the ejection port, the magazine ... I don't see a mag release. Absent seeing an exploded diagram or one in person, I don't see all that much similarity to a 15-22 except superficially.

Why fuss over swapping parts? Just buy the gun. Hopefully there's a NEA-15 forum for you to hang out on...

The NEA is a dedicated .22 upper on a standard AR-15 lower.

The NEA 22 is closer to the AR-15 than the 15-22 is, but without things like the Umarex "Colt" M4's internal barrel with shroud.

I also don't really see any copying here. There are bound to be similarities when you're working with the AR platform. With the option of converting your regular AR to accept 22lr, fluctuations in basic design really are not going to happen. I'm just happy to see another option out there that isn't copying the train wreck of a weapon found in the Mossberg 715T.

Looks like it may be even better than the 15-22 since it's on a real AR lower. Provided it matches the reliability of the 15-22.

I'm guessing not legal in all 50 states ? 7.5" barrel + suppressor= splendid.
