Default Can you identify me?

I was at Range 14 today and found the attached nut on my bench blanket. For the life of my I cannot identify where it came from.

It's either 1/4" or 5/16" black anodized nut.

I was also trying to sight a NC Star USS (more on that in a different thread) while I was there.

Since it was on the blanket I put down, it either came from my rifle or the sight. I went over the gun and the sight multiple times but nothing appears to be missing.

If you can help me identify where this came from I would appreciate it.

Thanks,

-Des

If you have a magpul sight check the mounting screw.

That's the nut behind the trigger~~~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like the QD nut like above. little clear nail polish fixes that.

Thanks, Brett!

That was exactly where the nut belonged (NCStar QD Lock Nut). When I looked it over I initially thought that was a long set screw and didn't think the nut belonged there.

Ibmikey,

I too saw that it looked like the locking nut on Magpul sights but they were both in place on the sights in their respective bags - not installed yet.

I appreciate the help!

Throw it away....after it's gone you will discover real quick what it belongs to. I've done that so many times it's not funny.
