Slide Fire 15-22 Kit now cheap!
You can now buy the SFS 15-22 kit for the price of a trigger upgrade $167, best price I have seen. Slide Fire Solutions 30-0100-CM S&W M&P 15-22 SBS Conversion Kit Online Gun Store Kit contains the Slide Fire stock, 3.5# trigger assembly, and recoil enhancer.

Must be lowering prices because of the other company that basically
came out with the same bump fire stock for $99.00

It is a standard AR trigger group so it should make no difference what it is put into.

FYI Trigger group is CMC 3.5 # which alone sells for the price of the SFS kit

I'm kinda like some of you guys. Couldn't turn my back on that one. Just ordered it. I'll let you know when it comes.
I've had the slide for years but always wanted the trigger. Now I can put the slide on one of my AR-15s and leave it there.

I'm wondering if some of the recent ATF rulings (like with the Sig arm brace, etc.) are making some of the stores nervous that some of these item may end up being regulated differently and they are dumping inventory.........

IMO, it would be hard to put that genie back in the bottle. Unfortunately, as we have seen in the past, there ain't many things closer to God on his throne in this country than ATF with a hard-on.

I too felt that the recent pistol brace ruling had something to do with it. I was personally holding back to see how everything pans out. But with this deal, even if you lose the stock down the road, it's still just like buying the trigger at full price.
Like others have echoed, it's too good a deal to pass up on so I put in my order last night. Grabagun is a good company too, I ordered my last 2 rifles from them which includes my 15-22.

Mine arrived today, to be clear this is a sealed kit from Slidefire, not the loose parts in their separate boxes. They still show the sale price and show "in stock" but they don't show any qty on hand like before, FWIW.

Slidefire ROCKS!!!
They say the trigger in the KIT depends on what is available when they package them
So they will swap the Timney with the CMC
Sending it out Tomorrow
SWEET!!!!!

Got mine today. Just as above... Sealed kit from SlideFire.
Mine has the Timney trigger. Is the CMC that big of a deal? Why?

I haven't gotten mine yet. Ordered mine Wednesday and still processing.
I too am wondering whether the CMC trigger is indeed better. Aren't the Timney triggers more expensive than the CMC triggers? Don't have any experience on either one so would like to know why the preference for the CMC over the Timney as well.

Over the years I've ran both Timney and CMC triggers in my AR 15's. If I recall correctly, CMC was the original drop in trigger then Timney came along and perfected it. Overall they are both excellent trigger systems and I would not hesitate to use either in this capacity.
Another thread that may be of some interest: CMC vs Timney

Thanks for that link Tim Tom! I actually did read that thread earlier but somehow didn't see stavman11's reply there as to why he preferred the CMC over the Timney the first time.
He said it had something to do with the stronger hammer spring of the CMC which allowed flawless function (no FTF's) with the Slidefire.

I tried a Timney & had all sorts of failures. Seems the hammer doesn't strike real hard. I pulled it & installed a CMC and all the failures went away. I now have CMC in both 15-22s and have no failures at all.
Timney Trigger Install

ya the CMC is a better option for the Slidefire....
It is the Heavy Hammer strike that makes a world of difference... totally pinched my thumb 1st time i tested it...
Now the Timney is a Sweet riger... have one in my AR15... Love it.... Just not for the slidefire

Why not give SFS customer service a call and see if they would let you exchange it for the CMC. The worst they can say is no.

Got mine delivered today and it had the CMC trigger. It was such I good deal I could not refuse. See the photo below of the new kit and my original 2 1/2 year old SlideFire stock only, that cost $350. Just the stock, no trigger, pins, or flash hider (new one has the 22 cal. recoil enhancer). There were no deals back then and there was no cheaper BumpFire stock to help keep the prices lower from competition. The installed SlideFire in on my DPMS AR-10. I used to have to swap the SlideFire to my S&W 15T and M&P 15-22, but not any more. The new one stays on the 15-22.

Am I the only one that got the Timney? Dang!
They actually did agree to swap it out as long as I hadn't opened it (and I haven't), BTW. I've just got to decide whether I'm too lazy to send it back. I'm still not totally convinced it's worth the trouble. The support guy there assured me it wasn't.
3 days and counting. LOL

If you take his advise, then it will be too late to swap it out if you are disappointed. The Timney I tried wouldn't work properly on a stock 15-22. Can't imagine what it would have done with a Slide Fire.
I suggest you swap it out.

There is quit a difference in the two Triggers when installed in the 15-22 with the Slidefire...
Like RedNeck Jim said.... if ya keep it... yer stuck....
I'd send it back and swap for the CMC.... youll be happy ya did

OK, I ordered one two weeks ago from Grabagun and it had the CMC trigger. I ordered another one two days ago and I am hoping it comes with the CMC. My question is, how can you tell without opening the box? The only thing on the box about a trigger is one of the round seals that says Slide Fire 3.5# trigger and E-clip pins. I spoke with Steven at Grabagun and he was very nice. He said the one I have coming is from the same batch as before, so it SHOULD be a CMC.
Did the one you got with the Timney trigger come from Grabagun? These things come straight from the company I think, and Grabagun is aware that the box is very hard to open without messing it up. Thanks.

OK
I understand, thanks for the reply. BUT, is it true that there is no way to know which trigger without opening the box? Several stated in previous post that if you open the box you can't return it. Am I misunderstanding what they are saying? I have tried calling Slide Fire but I keep getting their answering machine.
All I am trying to do is help myself and Grabagun determine if there is any way to determine the trigger before they ship them WITHOUT opening the box. Thanks again.

Seems to me they are talking about opening the trigger packaging... not the master box.

Hey Jim. Well I thought that too, but the CMC package that came in my first kit was just a plastic "pull at top" and it opened easily. No round or crimped plastic that is noticeable when opened. You could open it and nobody would know it.
Grabagun is being very cooperative on this and would like to have a way to check before they ship without messing up the sealed package. The main box the kit comes in is sealed with a piece of sticky tape that is hell to open without bending the box.
Maybe if they talk to Slide Fire they can tell them a way to check. I am just trying to not have to spend money sending something back to Slide Fire to swap. Likewise, Grabagun doesn't want people sending them back opened, if it can be determined before shipping.

The first kit I received about 12 days ago has a round sticker on the right side that folds over like a seal on the side flap and has the following info:
S&W M&P15-22 includes
SSAR-15 SBS
Slide Fire 3.5# Trigger
Slide Fire E-Clip Trigger Pins
Recoil Enhancer
There is another smaller round sticker on the front flap that just says S&W M&P15-22 KIT.
I have not received the second one yet.
So, I would guess the "TT" on yours means Timney Trigger, but that is just an assumption. LOL.
Maybe this is the way to tell.
