Default Flip up sights

I've had my 15-22 for a couple of weeks now and I love it. Great fun!

Which flip up sights do you guys use?

I use magpul and Troy. Troy is my favorite on a defensive weapon. but probably overkill for what the .22 is used for

I use YHM buis on my AR. For a 15-22 I would probably use the polymer Magpul mbus.

I really like A.R.M.S. polymers for a lightweight set on a budget.

I use the Troy Industries on everything after sampling others. I also use the DPMS round .050 front post in the HK style Troy front sights.

I use Troy, KAC, and Magpul Pro's on various AR builds, but am using a no-name metal folding set from Amazon on the 15-22. They are "styled" like the troy's essentially, with HK style front. You' have to replace the mounting screw, but for the money they are hard to beat, imo on a range plinker 22.

MBUS Gen2 on the 15-22.

I really like the Diamondhead aluminum sights I have on another rifle. They are the nicest irons I've ever lined up. I shoot with irons mostly, so I'm considering the polymer ones for the S&W.

My 15-22 is just a fun gun mostly for me & the Grandson. I did not want to put a lot in to flip ups because I knew I would not be using them much at all after putting the red dot on.
I just got the cheapest I could find on Amazon about $18.
To my surprise they were very good I was able to co-witness with the red dot.

I used to buy Troy, but have switched to Magpul. My AR does not see heavy abuse so the polymer/metal Magpul sights, which are secondary to an EOTech Exsp2, work out fine.

I bought a set of the Magpul clones in black. They work like a charm for me. If I was worried about them breaking under the stresses of a 22lr plinking rifle I would have bought the real McCoy 😉

Have the polymer Magpul sights. The seem to work really well, but my old eyes have a difficult time seeing targets at 50 yards or farther... even 25 yards is now getting blurry!

I stuck airsoft magpuls on mine with a bushnell trs-25.
i rarely use the flips but they work just fine.

i rarely use my 15-22 now that i've built a 22 suppressed sbr. so i will probably move the trs-25 to my sbr.
but the kids like to bring it out from time to time. i bought another suppressor last week so the kids can shoot the 15-22 suppressed. i hate taking the suppressor off my sbr so the simplest solution was to get another suppressor.
