Default Velocity Trigger

I did a search here and could not find any info on the Velocity Trigger. Searched around the net and read some very good things about them. Some test favored it over the CMC

Has anyone tried and/or is using this replacement AR15 trigger. On their site they say it is compatible with the .22lr platform.

If I missed info in my search please excuse me.

Thanks for all the help in advance.

I have two velocity drop in triggers. I also have timney triggers and cannot tell the difference between them. The velocity actually installs easier than the timney.

Does the velocity need the bottom metal plate due to being installed in a polymer lower?

Thanks for the reply. It follows just every thing I have read about them. The owner and designer built triggers for Timney for 14 years and has over 30 years experience designing and building triggers. That says a ton to me.

Once more thanks for your reply. Think I will try them out.

I hesitate strongly, in fact I don't claim they're compatible (they're incompatible in fact) with any AR15 22 LR pattern rifles. Out of the four (4) I've sold for 22LR, one was returned due to light strikes. After that return, I started denying compatibility with any 22LR platform rifles, contrary to Velocity's website. The second one I sold for AR15-22 was purchased with that disclaimer had to have the lower receiver modified and still "didn't sit straight", The third known sale for an AR15-22 dropped right in and worked fine, the fourth (possibly to you?) is reported to have light strikes. Read the full product advertisement from the web page you're ordering from to check the disclaimer about incompatibility. Also check the return policy from the company you're ordering from. Some discount retailers don't make enough on the discounted purchase to deal with the hassle of returns, especially when the product is claimed to be incompatible on the product description page. Ordering from a full MSRP retailer, expect top notch prepaid returns. Order from someone selling new product at a minimum margin, don't be shocked to see a restrictive return policy. Shipping fees, return shipping fees, merchant service fees, return merchant service fees then having an open box product can wipe out the profit on 10 additional sales.

Bill.

Love my Velocity Trigger though I have it in a center fire AR. I consider it a great value but unfortunately can't comment on how well the work in .22lr guns.

Love it in my standard AR. Tons of light primer strikes in the 15-22. I would definitely agree with Angry Bill that it is incompatible.
