Impressed.
Meets all my expectations and then some...i could actually out run the stock trigger, this thing can out run me. Once again WOW.

I can only write this from the perspective of someone who has only tried the 24C versus the stock trigger (with JP springs.) So any comparisons i make are purely that. I have not tried any of the big name competitors of this trigger so please don't get irked if you know better. Just my honest opinion of my latest swap out part for my beloved 15-22

First few tentative shots (hoping the thing didn't blow up in my face) trying to get used to it was pleasingly difficult, it is chalk and cheese to the factory trigger. No grittiness, no pre travel. I actually managed to go so slow through the trigger pull to actually feel a marginal bit but almost imperceptible.

Especially when squeezing the trigger which you can actually do with the 24C. It is so very smooth, i was actually taken by surprise the first few offhand shots i tried. Not in a dangerous way, the trigger is not too light, but it breaks so cleanly and crisply that it took a few rounds to get used to just how smooth and crisp it actually is.
Over travel....what over travel. None. The trigger resets very positively, no sponginess or lag, its just ready to shoot again.
I am no gunsmith and i dont have all the correct phraseology but in laymans terms this trigger is so very crisp and light. The hammer hits the rims very hard, although i did have 2 FTF's in my first mag, perhaps i loaded them incorrectly in my excitement because after that everything went bang first time, 'rapid fire', 'double taps' and 'precision' it is going to make me work harder to get full advantage of the 24C.

Luckily the 'Shoe' thing, gimmicky though it may seem, actually has highlighted a slight correction in my trigger placement and relative hand position on the grip. This trigger is worth putting many more hours of training into to reap the full benefits it can offer.

All in all I am very very happy. I can feel a few more nights down the range for 'research purposes'.

ive read a little on the straight vs curved offerings and it seems like from the online pictures that the "shoe" can be removed and the trigger functions and feels like a standard straight since the mounting teeth are on the back of the trigger only?

if so then this setup seems like a great hybrid! subscribed!

To simplify, there are 3 sets of toggle springs for the 2.5/3.5/4lbs trigger pull. Plus 5 ridges on the straight trigger blade.
The "shoe" can be positioned for different 'feel' on the trigger, lower being the lightest. Which according to the 'gumpf' equates to '15 Distinct Trigger Weights (3-Springs X 5-Positions = 15)'

It can be removed altogether for a truly well machined, cool looking straight trigger.
Of course I'm gonna try them all over the next few weeks.

I've been wanting a 24C for a while now. Lena Micelek uses one and highly recommended it last yr at the NRA convention. Just got one today for my B'day. Can't wait to install it and try it out. I'm curious, which springs you installed first? I think I'm going straight to the lightest. I'm already thinking about one for my AR.

haven't live fired one but did try the test set up they had at a gun show. the lightest is ridiculously easy to pull. would be fun to have one

You know it ......Straight for the lightest with the shoe on the lowest setting...it is a fantastic trigger! It gets better the more i get used to it. A breeze to install and a pleasure to use. I am interested to hear what you think of it, personally i think that you have just got a perfect b'day present!

It certainly lives up to the gumpf....on the lightest setting it is very light and incredibly responsive, it is so damn crisp, it looks and acts like a precision trigger because it is. Very happy with my purchase.

I would love to hear from someone who had fired a geissele as well for comparison.

I dont think you will be disappointed, but remember the only other trigger i have fired is the stock trigger and my beloved Annie match trigger.

That being said.....I am sure i made the right choice...because my face lights up when i use it.

I went ahead and bought and installed their top of the line trigger the ECL.
As I was just going to be using it in my benchrest AR build I installed the 2 lb springs and moved the shoe to the bottom notch. man I am in love with this thing. Only shot it at the indoor range that is 20yds but shot 3 hole groups that looked like one bullet hole. My digital trigger gauge says 2lb 1oz over and over. I don't remember who no this forum recommended these triggers but I want to thank them. Don

So what's the price point on that model? Around $250? I'd have a hard time spending that much, that's more than half of what my rifle cost complete.

Any idea what the difference is between the 24C and the 24E?

The 24C (Competition) has been Eclipsed by the 24ECL which as far as i can work out is made of better material. Up until the release of that trigger the 24C was their top of the line range.

The 24E has a curved trigger bow, does not have the hipershoe and is generally not as finely honed as the 24C. A little more creep on pull and reset, Still a great trigger by all accounts. Hiperfires website has the rundown on all its triggers, youtube can help you with user reviews.

On another post you mentioned the pins were short in the 15-22 lower.. Wouldn't switching to an after market set of pins resolve that issue? You said yours were functioning fine, but some have experienced walking pins so I'm thinking why not just eliminate the problem before there is one...

I had a hard time deciding between the Hiperfire and the Geissele. I only knew i wanted a single stage, 2lb pull with a straight trigger. The Hiperfire 24C ticked all the boxes. Add to that the extra hammer energy...made it my pick.

I contacted Terry Bender and he pretty much echoed what was said on his website....whether this is a disclaimer or not, i'm not sure but like i said. Mine have shown no sign of moving so i'm not too worried. I do check regularly.

Although it also states that, while other pins may effect function of the uniqueness of the 24C it does not say that you cannot use them.
Will The FCG Work With Anti-Walk And Anti-Rotation Pins?

I'd be interested to hear from someone who has a 24C with anti rotation pins installed and how it effects function....because all the peeps I contacted with the 24C in a 15-22 just had the original supplied ones in and NO ONE had any complaints about them walking.

As you know I have the 24C and I have had KNS pins pretty much from day one of getting the smith. I simply removed them, put in the Hyper Fire then replaced the KNS pins. I use these in conjunction with the Odin works XMR and also the NDZ SBR, as a combination it is, IMO flawless.... They work so well together I don't even have to move my eyes when doing a mag change....minimal movement of the trigger finger is great.



I may even have a full set of spares arriving soon..... Next build I feel is coming to the fore....

So, you can say that having the KNS does not effect the Hiperfire in any way.....? Now you know the google is now pricing up KNS pins....you are a bad influence! I am happy that those supplied pins are not going anywhere, but having the reassurance of the KNS would be good....plus they look a lot tacticooler.

I have the same setup but with slight variations in brand names, Magpul, BAD Lever, Magpul Enhanced mag release and you are right my good man...you don't have to put any effort in to manipulate any part of the rifle...IT IS SUPER
