Default Detailing 15/22

I am going to duracoat the stock and hand guard on my 15/22 FDE. I want to remove the stock position lever. Would someone tell me how to remove the lever?. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Might be easier to just buy a stock in FDE

Permanently?

Sounds like what you WANT to do is to remove the stock from the buffer tube.

Each stock is different in how it comes off the tube; the MOE version, for instance, requires pulling DOWN on the roll pin and pulling the stock off. But you don't have to take OFF the lever.

Default stock lever 10/22

Thanks for replies. I have the stock off the tube, that was easy, nothing on you tube about the lever. Magpul an obvious option, but this is a custom project I want to tackle. There must be a way to remove the lever!!!

There's a roll pin you have to knock out of the round nut. Then you can unscrew it and take the lever off
