Has anyone added one of these? Their pins are .1555 larger than the standard small pins on an AR. I know they work fine in metal lowers, but wondered if this would cause a problem with the polymer lower?
I plan on calling them tomorrow to see what they say. These are great triggers for the price.

I have one in my RRA predator pursuit I believe it is the 4.5 pound version. They also make a lighter 3.5 pound trigger that is in the newer varmint rifles. I have a cmc 3.5 in my 15-22 and really like it. It was simple to install and came with a free slide fire stock. I like the two stage rra trigger on my ar15 but the cmc seems to be a better option in a 15-22 at least to me.

My 15-22 Performance Center came with the RRA Trigger as a standard feature.

Have a Hiperfire 24C in my 15-22. Trigger upgrades are great, i would recommend the change from the factory trigger.

Never had a moments issue with the CMC, use it on all my 15-22s & ARs & since that is what they sell with the Slidefire, that should tell you something about how well it works on the 15-22. Plus since it is a drop in module, even an idiot like me can install it. Midway has it in stock & on sale for $160. To me, the 3.5 lbs is perfect for accuracy but still strong enough to be safe. CMC also sells the anti-walk pin kit designed just for the 15-22. You can spend twice as much for the KNS anti-rotation kit but even though I have one, they serve no real purpose on a 22. I think most like them for the looks.

Also I will state, I am not a fan of 2 stage triggers for the type shooting I do. I mainly practice home defense type shooting... snap shots & double taps. I would assume a 2 stage trigger is better for match shooting... thus the name. I get bored punching holes in paper.

My employer issues the RRA in carbine form. Mine has run over 10K rounds. It has been armorer refurbished twice, with the trigger group being replaced both times. Armorer refurbishment was performed both times as a tune up, and not because of reliability issues. I have a personal RRA variant with the two stage trigger with around 1k, and no issues. I have, however, seen a couple of issue guns that developed trigger malfunctions between 1-3k rounds. Nevertheless, my experience with RRA triggers as they come in RRA guns has been positive.

That solves nothing for me, as I'm not the least bit interested in how tight a group I can shoot on paper when I'm all relaxed & have my breathing/heartbeat under control. I am interested in training myself to make a kill shot quickly from multiple stances. If the rounds hit within 6" that does the trick for me. Only paper I use are the cardboard silhouette torso targets. I do love shooting my 6" steel targets. It is a challenge to see how fast I can acquire a new target & make a hit. Whenever I bring new shooters down to the range in the bottom pasture, I ALWAYS find they end up doing the same. Seems after they feel comfortable with the gun, they like to test themselves too. If more than two come down, they always want to show the other up. Never fails.

I'm not putting down target shooters... just simply stating what floats my boat.

I wish i had a range to do that on...our indoor range wont even let us shoot 'hostage' targets. When i go to our outdoor range i have 'cardboard' target which somebody said it looked like a man shape, i said "how many men do you know with a large rectangle body and a square head?" heh heh
PC gone mad...oh well i am the youngest member of the committee at our club and the old guard are retiring at a fast rate, so someday i will be the old guard.

So at what distances do you shoot your rifle?

Normally at 25 yards and 50 yards. Sometimes I bring it in to 5-10 yards, the area I normally pistol train, but at that close, I only shoot on cardboard silhouette, as I don't like hitting metal that close.
