Default RRA 2-Stage Trigger Owners: Watch this video!

Hey guys, I just recorded this quick video to illustrate a question that I have about the function of my Eock River Arms 2-stage Match Trigger that I just transferred from my old 15-22 to my brand-new Sport model.

Watch the video and let me know what you think.

M&P 15-22 Sport Rock River Arms RRA 2-Stage Trigger Question - YouTube

Thanks so much.

Anyone? Help would be appreciated!

I know there's a bunch of RRA 2-Stage owners out there. I was recommended that trigger from you guys.

I don't have this trigger in my 15-22 but I do in my ar-15. Although mine is the national match 4.5# version. It's factory installed in an rra lower. Pulls similar on safe as your video shows with an open bolt and a little further with the selector switched to fire but not far enough to release the hammer. Or maybe it's compressed and can't drop with the bolt open on an ar. I know it's apples to oranges but it's some perspective as well. Maybe a slight geometry difference between the platforms and the trigger/ safeties that allow this to happen. Hope this helps

Ok. Thanks for the input.

I believe it's not possible for the trigger to release the hammer when the bolt is locked open as the hammer is held in the depressed position by the open bolt.
