Well... what did you get? A little more info would be helpful. LOL! I hope it is a 22 rifle. Good start. At that price a Rossi Model 62? I learned on a Winchester Model 62, it served us well and my brother still has it. Probably over 10K rounds thru it and it still shoots accurate. Several kids in our family learned on that firearm.

Buy lots of ammo. You will shoot a lot more than you expect to with the 15-22. It's a blast to shoot.

Curious minds want to know.........what did you buy.
Was it a S&W M&P 15-22? If you got that for $350 new then you got one heck of a deal so I am guessing it might be something else.
Yep shooting a whole mag of 25 goes quick. You might buy a couple buckets of 22lr.

I paid that much for mine and it was lnib but second hand. I have only seen them new for around $450+. The receipt was in the box showing the previous owner paid like $489 a year ago before I got it.

Congrats on your new 15-22. Bought mine about a year ago for $359.00 Sad that I live in a compliant only state so I removed the pinned stock & replaced it with a Magpul MOE fixed carbine stock, added a Colt carry handle, put on some Magpul XTM enhanced rail panels, and finally added a Tacticool22 4.5 barrel shroud. Stock up on ammo, it goes quick but you will have a blast shooting it.
