New 15-22 sport model (MOE SL)
Looks like S&W has introduced a new model in the 15-22 sports line.
M&P 15-22 Sport MOE SL
This model is available in FDE and black and sports a Magpul SL grip and SL butt stock. Looks like it also includes a few type 2 rail covers. (which I really like for M-Lok)
Product: M&P®15-22 SPORT

Interesting, good for S&W. It just amazes me that Magpul or Hogue do not make an overmolded handgrip that will follow the contours of the 15-22 lower receiver. I realize that it will not effect function, but that gap just bugs me.

I use both Hogue and Ergo grips on my 15-22's and the "beaver tail" lays flat against the receiver with no gap.
Might be worth taking a look at.
