I wouldn't stand it next to a furnace or leave it in the path of a steamroller. However i reckon it could handle being dropped or knocked, i reckon it would even handle a dog bite. Saws, drills and blowtorches are probably more than a match for it.
To be honest i do not know, mine is a range queen and gets treated accordingly. My better half is constantly complaining that i use to many of my children's baby wipes cleaning the rifle.
One thing i do know though is that i had a veal cutlet that was so rare it got off the plate and started attacking my coffee and the coffee wasn't strong enough to defend itself.
