Do the extended takedown pins fit and function properly in the 15-22? I saw a thread that said the 15-22 pins are slightly longer. Hoping someone can verify. I installed some on my Sport II and think the 15-22 could use some 'personalization'. Thanks!

Anyone? I guess I will order a set and see if they fit properly. If not I will use them in my 7.62x39 build.

Why not compare the 15 22 pins to the sport 2 pins?

Regular size extended pins will be too short, you would need slightly longer. There was a company called, dare I say it in here, "Doomsday Industries" however, after getting some of these sourced and shipped to UK, they didn't fit, would bind and generally were not very good, so I like others on here ditched them and didn't bother.
I have EZ pull pins on my other ARs and they work great, but I'm pretty sure they won't work on the smith as they will be a fraction short.
