Yes -with an if,
No - with a but.

Yes, if you are a lefty, yes if you (like me) don't like the polymer original one. Yes if you are addicted to buying 'go faster' bits for your favourite .22

No - it doesn't really alter the function of the original safety but it is made of steel and feels more substantial than the original and even though i am a righty, i still use the ambi side, so it does serve a purpose.

Personally, i could have lived without it, but thanks to a very kind gentleman on here, i got one offered with a bit of a discount . A favour for a favour so to speak. Now i have it in I am very happy that i do.

I have just trawled all my known uk sites and nothing showed up. EMRR have one but that is for the actual AR15, they make a BAD AZZ* specifically for the 15-22.

With this item being ITAR, Seems like you'll have to bite the Brownells UK bullet if you want one.

As GhostMutt said, I also liked the fact that it is metal, not plastic. My wife shoots long guns left handed, so pretty much everything we own is set up for her to use.
Besides, "I bought it for you Dear" still works at my house...
She really likes the Vortex Crossfire Scope.
The Black Dog Drum took a little more talking when I came home from the Gun Show with one in my hand.

I have worn out the plastic detent and safety on mine with countless manipulation of the safety lever. (I shoot mine ALOT!)

Great upgrade with the benefit of being an ambi control.
