Default NC Star Free Float

I was just on Optics Planet looking for free float fore ends and saw an NC Star free float with the proper barrel nut to fit the M&P 15-22. Has anyone seen or used this product and can give some feedback? I have used several of the NC Star free float fore ends with the Tacticool adapter nuts. This one is cheaper than burying the adapter nut and free float separately.

I have the 10" version on one of my 15-22 and it worked out very well. Installation was easy and once I got the spacer that goes between the upper and handguard seated properly it has been solid. Actually very happy with it!

My only wish is that it was offered in M-lok.

I'm not sure if I would like that hand guard, but the camouflage paint job is fantastic.

My handguard is covered with BCM keymod covers. I needed them to give the handguard a little grip for me. Since I had a bunch laying around, I went a little crazy covering it.

Makes it look 'lil funky tho..
