New Muzzle Brake
Finally made my choice, went for the TandemKross 'Game Changer' Compensator.
Took it for a shoot Monday night and i like it. Has it reduced the already minimal muzzle rise? Yes. So i'm happy it looks cool and does it's part.

As the gumpf from Tandemkross states this brake was designed for the 22lr cartridge. Really they are just window dressing but any improvement however minor is good enough reason for me....
Also big shout out to Keith as the
'Keith's Tactical - Dual Piece Bolt Catch Stabiliser Unit' works like a charm

12.25 inches uk legal length (12in)....much better balance on the rifle with a shorter barrel. I was only benching it for the pics, i shoot offhand.

my muzzle on the new and improved SBR
Here's a couple of pics of my muzzle device.
A great addition from the Troy family, The Claymore, so named I'm guessing as all the blast comes out the front..... Hence the phrase " Front towards Enemy"
Also been looking at the Medieval one but as yet cant seem to find one in UK.
Took this one off my AR for now, possibly put it back on when I swap around with the Can for some silent but deadly plinking fun.
Rob

How's that handguard working out for ya? was it an ebay job?, i have seen a China one that is a fraction of the cost of the one i covert..but erm....its a China one. Not sure whether it would just be throwing away money i could be putting toward the more expensive one? Decisions, decisions.

Works just fine GM,
my worry was the threads but they are absolutely fine.
I may swap out again at some point ( when I can get the one I actually want ) but for a stand in its spot on.
I will find a way to get the Troy Alpha at a good price but until then this no name one is fine.
They are all made from the same type of Alloy and weight wise are approx same, only real difference is quality of coating finish but as it's a range plinker and not service rifle, I can live with that for time being.
Rob.
