What, wait....no way.

I actually had a look at mine to see if there was play in the bolt catch and there was, enough to make me want to do anything about it...no...but now...yeah.

Thanks very much, i am honestly very thankful for this, hopefully my compensator turns up this week and i can get all gunsmithy on my 15-22.

I checked mine today and sure enough there was a little wobble. Can't say I had ever noticed it before but guess what I'll be doing mid week.

Thanks Keith

Much appreciated.

Keith, Do we have to file the hole or the width to make em fit snugly?

The hole is ok it is the width. I managed to slide them in

after i had taken off the ever so slight lip from around the hole

but it was a little tight, so then they just needed a couple of

thou off to fit perfect with no slop...adjust from the back of

the washer that you have cleaned up already...you will see

when the washers arrive, slight rounded edge of the washer

facing outwards

Maybe i should be selling this little fix on Flea Bay

I think you'd fall foul of ebays trade in arms regulations ETAR. Or you could just list them as plumbing supplies.

Oops. Scalded child that I am.

Had my bollocking for being naughty with my "creative spelling" and picked up 1 point.

Ben, how many points are needed for a week long muzzle?

I ask as I know you had one and want to avoid having to wear your red ball mouth plug

Thanks Keith, received mine this morning. I don't know if I am stating the obvious but I found it easier to half push the roll pin out and install one then push the pin back the other way and install the other. That way I did't risk losing any bits. Just an idea.

Ah right ok. And I guess they deleted the post before I got to see it hence why I didn't know what it was about. I see.

It's still there. Post 3. But they edited it to enough. It's in italics.

Ah ok. Very subtle if you didn't know what had been written beforehand.

Hi Keith,

Just took a dremel to both washers and popped em in, no problems.

Wasn't bothered about the slack bolt catch before, can't even say i had noticed it...now...well how did i live with that amount of slack.

Now it is as tight as......erm.....in the interests of saintliness and not wishing to offend anyone.......as tight as the manufacturer should have made it in the first place

Appreciate it.

+1 for above.

Simple little fix for something hardly realised....

UNTIL you fix it..... WORLD of difference.

Thanks Keith

Much appreciated, thanks for taking the time and effort to source and share.

Rob.
