Default CCI Copper 22lr

Picked up 2 boxes of CCI Copper 22lr 1850 fps.
Want to try it out in my 15-22.
Has anyone here tried it out yet? Being lead free its safer.
How about residue and clean up ?
Being a very high velocity must shoot a bit high?

Thanks.

1850 fps,are you sure of the speed and that they are 22lr.

The copper plated CCI that I have are the 40gr mini mags @ 1230fpss,36gr Swamp People hollow point @ 1250fps and the 40gr Tactical @ 1200fps

These are sold either in plastic boxes of 100 or in cardboard boxes of 300

That speed is correct , the bullet is 21gr with a mixture of copper and polymers, CCI also has 1435 fps 40 gr. in the Velocitor. Another hot round is the Browning BPR at 1435 fps 40gr. and than the Aguila Interceptor 40 gr that gets 1470 fps. Everything else is generic , Swamp People is a marketing ploy

It's been my experience that fast .22s are no where near as accurate as those between 1.000 and 1100 fps.

My concern would be correct feeding. From the images it appears that the oal of the bullet might be shorter? I have also heard in the past that you shouldn't use too much high velocity ammo in the 15-22. Cant remember exactly why or if this round would qualify with it being such a light bullet. Thanks for testing it for us! Be sure to report back.

*edit
22plinkster on YouTube did a review of this and if I remember correctly the ammo accuracy was mediocre and the range was also limited (about 50 yards).
